    I have just found a photo of a seaplane with rust streaks - there is a prototype for everything. Good, I can keep the rust streaks on mine then!

      would this be the knackered catalina? how did you do the flat tyres?

      Sand them down all round, cut out the bottom where it touches the ground, glue in a bit of plasticard where it touches the ground, rebuild with filler and sand down
