The best selection of 80s cars is probably the 3d printed ones from https://railnscale.com/vehicles-cars/ , though relatively expensive considering they need painting etc edit, notice Graham has already mentioned them

Love this shot. You've captured this sort of section of the wcml perfectly lockquote widget

Same here. Even if it's a couple of years away. Ideally it would be great to be able to set up a DD for £25 a month or whatever and start funding it. That would be more attractive than a 50% deposit option for me, but there are probably reasons why it isn't like this.

Pretty sure the location is Helsby, just before the bridge next to the station and the junction to Hooton. (Grew up in Helsby)

Was lovely to see this in the flesh yesterday and meet Duncan & Janet. A couple of my phone photos; Bone powers through with loaded MGR Break in the clouds and the sun highlights the depot building

Or at least send the Replica to MOSI. Perhaps they will once the Power Hall has undergone refurbishment.

Very happy with Valiant. Also happy that I'd not pre-ordered the NSE version (very nearly did). It is a shame that Dapol can't always get aspects of certain liveries correct. Will get 008 if DCC Supplies commission it, and I'd get 149 in RF General if produced. I'd probably get a revised NSE one too.

Yep - I've had an email from DCC Supplies to say they have landed with Dapol. Option to pay and collect for the Valiant Ltd Edition at TINGS for those going.

Wooden trains can become quite addictive, as long as you've got an excuse of younger people that they are really for...... -

Not had chance to do much modelling recently, but had a go at weathering a few wagons with a SW leaning today -

Finding it really nice digging out stock I've done over the years and putting them on a bit of track with scenics. Here's a small rake of Ian Stoate BBAs and BAA with hot rolled coils loaded "eye to the sky" -

Adding some young trees to the embankment, can't decide if it looks ok, or perhaps needs more if them, or additional bushes. -
