Supposed to be building up my GWR fleet for my next exhibition layout but there is too many nice models coming out - Dapol 33 for one. Do I impose the rule of only buying GWR stuff to get this layout populated or cave in to desires for a 33 and goodness knows what else?

Nice bit of overtime coming up in the next couple of months, local model shop is open on Sunday's just after I should finish work. Would it be rude to take a little detour on my way home?

Bought a Dapol N Gauge 14XX and autocoach and a Farish GWR Cattle Wagon at the weekend, these and the Pannier and 2 B Set Coaches I am getting for Christmas suggests I should build an N Gauge GWR Branch

Quite scary filling out an exhibition booking for for a layout that has only 2 boards out of 6 made and none of the track laid yet.

back from my mini-moon. Has anything exciting happened in the model railway world since 24th April?

The nice weather of these last two evenings have given me a chance to weather an LNER O4 2-8-0 and Midland 3F 0-6-0, whn the main paint has dried and I have had chance to do some touching up with hand painting and powders I will post some pics.

Weather forecast is promising this evening so I might get the airbrush out and weather a loco before Shildon show in a months time.

Does anyone of of a maker of 4mm/OO Gauge Lancashire & Yorkshire signal box and station kits?

Why do all my pre-order's arrive at once? No sooner have I got my 08 from the Signal Box then Kernow email me to say the first lot Blue/Grey NSE Mk2's have been dispatched. Need a new secret address to get all these packages sent to.

Has managed to fit a 4-way extension plug in the loft and now has working lights and a train set up there! It will be a model railway when I lift it off the floor, enlarge it and put some scenics on it but it will do for now.

is getting worried. First my better half says "I have earned my trip to Railfest tomorrow" then asks what my plans were for a model railway in the loft, sounds like I am onto a winner here!

in the last 24 hours I have weathered 4 box vans, 9 coal wagons, 6 14T tankers, 4 China Clay Wagons and 2 Brake Vans. Will post some pics when the paint has properly dried.

30 minutes till the weekend starts. Tonght I will be in the back yard weathering 4 Bachmann box vans - my first real attempt at weathering.

if you can get down to the NRM in the next week or so and are into weathering then Olton Hall is parked up after a week of shutte work, she has not been cleaned and you can get up close to her and get oads of reference shots and ruin other people's who want their pic taken with the engine
