      Thenks for pointing it out!Excellent!

  3. So who else was expecting the ramp to tip like a seesaw when the loco passed over the block then?
  4. Ready and waiting for the call fella! Can you be free on October 8th by the way?
  5. I've already asked and got the negative answer! I'm sure if they promised the centre car later it would prompt many more orders for the two car one now? I would certainly place an order straight away but I'm not going to if I can't make it a 3 car later as that is how I remember them round these parts.
  6. Is that where the triangle of lines is with Maindee depot marked on it? I like St Woolos yard myself, perhaps without the St, East Woolos Yard or Woolos East Yard? (Its the name of the hospital that I've been to whilst working!) Over to you Leon.
  7. Hi Leon (again) I must confess I don't know the area well and looking on Google maps I'm not sure where the yards you mention are. However looking at the maps of the Newport area there appears to be a yard not too disimilar to yours on a curve close to the docks the name nearest is Maesglas. Maybe East (or West) Maesglas yard or Maesglas east yard etc.......... Other suggestions: St Woolos Clytha Park Clyffard Street Llandaff Street Coldra Road
  8. Hi Leon Is there a Welsh version of Newport that you could use?
  9. Bit of dinner and off to Ropley to see 50027's test runs.

      Beresford Junction

Great - only a couple of miles from my house - pity I'm 200 miles away :-(

  10. Do you have definite plans now Pete, and maybe we could meet up as discussed previously?
  11. That's me caught up on here after a week away, now off for a shower and down to Ropley to have a close look at Lion and meet its owner.

Which "Lion"? obviously not the L&M one as that's in Liverpool, the 47-lookalike as it was scrapped or the Guinness shunter as that's on duty at Wallingford today!

  12. Does it have a parachute function for when Phil drives it off the end of the layout?
  13. Just noticed this Murrayfield and I can answer it for you, yes it's a Bachmann and yes it's weathered and sound fitted too!
  14. What in the dark? The poor sod's on nights til Sunday! Although he can't be airborne at the moment as he's viewing my thread!
  15. Evening Phil How's things (apart from busy!). It looks like between you and Scott you're stripping ebay of any Freightliner locos!
  16. Ooops! Bet you're glad you're 'working' at home? After last night next Sunday now a goer for me.

  18. Morning Phil Like Graham mine are all Large on the mainlines and mainly mediums in the depot area with a lot of small radius ones in the fiddle yard to save space and make the roads as long as possible.
  19. I'd use the setrack curves through the tunnel idea, but create a scenic break across the corner so the trains effectively leave one 'scene' and reappear into another. To have the corner open, the radius of the curve would need to be so big to look okay that you'd have no room to do anything else. Oh and I'd be happy to help with the helix, it could be interesting!
  20. Morning Pete The tree looks much better, not quite so in yer face with the colour. Out of interest what did you spray it with?
  21. Morning Graham That last pic under the lights makes me feel cold! Unfortunately can't make Wigan on account of it being too far 'oop Norf', have you any bookings 'darn sarf' this year as it would be good to catch up with you guys again?
  22. Oooo a roundy roundy again, goody!
  23. Is that why your avatar seems to have been changed back to an earlier version then???? Superb pictures as usual Leon and don't worry we all go through that state of mind where you wish your layout was like someone else's! Believe me if you had one of those moments and rip it all up I'm sure you would come to regret it. Keep going fella the layout has got a lot of fans on here mate.
