    Hi Leon good to see you back here fella, last couple of sets of pics look superb and I like the look of the new 37 with the flush front. Have you improved the pickups on your Bachmann 08s as they suffer because the wipers rest on the wheel treads and any dirt/crud gets stuck under them until they don't make contact anymore? The pic shows the mod I carried out on my pair and they now run perfectly through all my points that haven't been 'specially wired' in any way at all. As you can see the new pickups make contact with the back of all 6 wheels and are much less suseptible to dirt.

    Because my StaNav took me to where they used to be located as per their address, the shop is actually further up the road as I found out when I looked on Google maps at home!

      I'm off for a meeting near the airport, and it says 12 mins from there. I hope my colleague doesn't mind hanging round for a couple of hours while I browse.

    Hang on a minute is that an invite to play trains I wonder??? Clan-Line has a chip. That sign takes me back. I remember seeing it on Leaway Park and a large crowd forming for the working cameras at the ready, and one of the operators almost ruining the pics by running a train in front of it.

    Sorry to hear the job news Leon, they didn't find out you were a modeller did they? Is there any chance of an appeal or 'wrongful' case? The best of luck with finding a new position soon but in the meantime keep the pics coming fella.

    Morning Leon Its good to see you back again with some new pics and a new loco, I just hope this rekindles the interest and leads to some more top progress as I always look forward to opening your thread whenever there's a new post! As you know I can understand your comments about loft dwelling and lack of natural light though, but don't let it get you down just sit back and look at what you've created already!

    I actually popped down to Leaford this afternoon and saw the EPBs and VEP first hand and they look superb now that they all have a coat of grime in all the right places! I might even be tempted by the 4 VEP myself before they sell out you never know when I might need one.
