      Braw! - picked up one of the Heljan 05's when they where getting blown out of Hattons and can know feel a Lochty branch coming on.

       

      Regards dialect from Dumbarton to Doncaster its all good once you go north or south of that it gets difficult lol - its a good job the westcoasters speak slowly as the words are all different ;)

  4. Original Yamaha front brake light switch lasted 15 years. Genuine Yamaha no longer available, neither of the pattern replacements its had have lasted more than ten months.

  9. Got diesel @96.9 p litre today- think thats the lowest i've seen in the recent price fall?

      This was at BP Dumbarton (A82) & the Esso opp. was same - seems the Esso stations in Glasgow do a couple of days a week promotion - so it might not be regular but managed to get this price on 2 consecutive fill ups :) - good for the consumer not so good if you work out on the rigs?

      seems to be widespread here esp. in outlying areas and not weather related - complain and ask for slice off your bill?

      Dont really try to drive eco - though I do drive for a living so prob helps high 60's is usual though we live in a rural area (VAG 1.6Tdi in Octavia estate) had to get it done as EGR is hugely troublesome in this engine. but glad

      had EGR delete + remap that has improved fuel consumption by about 10% cant quite believe results!

  17. Mention is often made of the generic basic 'shelf stacking job in a supermarket'. I've been looking for jobs for five years and I've never seen an advert for one. Can someone tell me where this generic role gets advertised? :-S

      What about taking a large vehicle driving test their are plenty bus companies who will take on trainees, and I thing HGV drivers ar getting in short supply too - the hrs are shite but then so are supermarkets these days?

      its ok found there was 1 set off check rail gauges left so bought them will be able to use to make plain track without checkrails too if needed - I am thick sometimes lol
