  1. Further to Jeff's comment, the H&BRly's 2-4-0 passenger engines also had simimilar works plates.
  2. H&BRly No17 as rebuilt with new domeless boiler, but retaining original Kirtley cab.
  3. H&BRly Class G1 tank at Springhead. Built for the opening of the railway in 1885, non of the twelve made it to work for the L&NERly, but some were sold after the 1922 merger for colliery use.
  4. Little Weighton, md '50's, the replacement Up Distant signal, can be seen in the cess.
  5. I I have since learnt though sold as Hull, the location is actually Darlington.
  6. A recent E Bay buy. 68011 somewhere in Hull, almost certainly east of the river and I'm sure the gas holder is that of the East Hull Gas Co and not Bankside. The engieering premises left of picture should finalise the exact location. there is point rodding and signal wires at bottom of picture, so close to a signalbox, Dansom Lane being a possible candidate.
