  1. Yes, the client wants this same house in a derelict state too.
  2. This is just about done. A cottage that stood next to the Ticknell Tramway.

  4. How about this: https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/kx049-oo-gtc-engineering-works---oo4mm176-16466-p.asp
  5. Could you cut the backscene curve instead, just for the height of the building?
  6. Well, I tried to grab your vacated space, but El Flooro was having none of it.
  7. That would be exactly my proposal, should the GWR line have remained open and the SR one closed. Also, with the current track layout at Bodmin Parkway, there is no direct route to Bodmin General from the mainline.
  8. Er, update on the last update - apparently I've over-stepped the brief and tried to grab more space than is available, so Castell will not be making a visit, although it will be at the Helston Club's show in Pool ( not Poole) on 13/14 April.
  9. Due to the sporadic nature of my attendance, due to not knowing which day it is and what I'm supposed to be doing, I had missed this question. Suffice to say that I was aiming for the Naughty Step, rather than the Gents, however should the Floor Master & Chief Choreographer decree that that is where I am to be, then c'est la vie. But I'll be keeping all the choccy cake to myself !
  10. Apparently Mrs Stubby sees nothing incorrect, libelous or otherwise insulting in this statement, in fact it would appear a total agreement is proposed. As such, there maybe some sort of chocolate cake donated to the cause ( @Graham_Muz) , however, this may or may not be complete on arrival.
  11. I will be bringing Castell to SWAG again this year, but it will be fully operational as a roundy-roundy. Hopefully it will also have much more detailing and possibly a couple of new buildings. I might even add some people.
  12. Seeing as how Mr Spams has unfortunately had to withdraw, would it be possible to request a larger plot in order to cater for an increase in the chocolate cake eating area?
  13. Gents, sorry for the delay in replying. We've considered selling the items as 'kits', but due to the wi-fi element the system would still require CE certification. As such, the whole project is on hold. I, for one, am gutted, because having built a couple of layouts using the prototype, it is far easier to set up Isolation sections, point control and frog polarity switching and accessory control than anything I've seen or used before.
  14. An alternative to new doors could be a rubber flap at the base of the original doors.
  15. As a customer order delivery driver, I never know where I'll be for my break. But, sometimes, the gods smile.
  16. See here. http://www.cornishhedges.co.uk/index.htm
  17. Another option is to use multiple sheets of thin card, one layer at a time, laminating them with glue.
  18. Happy New Year to you and yours, and just to say the overshot water wheel is now available, if you still need one. https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/lx495-oo-overshot-waterwheel---oo4mm176-14570-p.asp
  19. Another framed building completed today, this time in 3mm scale, of a bow-fronted bookshop, inspired by Sally Lunn's in Bath.
  20. That's exactly the idea, a new market catering to either wealthy house holders, or businesses. A secondary market is indeed the tourists, with models of certain Cornish buildings, such as Doc Martin's cottage. It's something I'm keen to develop over the next few months ( ie before Christmas, and then in time for Spring).
  21. An ultra low-relief model of a cottage in Fowey, made for a client. I had this on show on Sunday, and a couple of gents from Fowey actually recognised it.
  22. Now waiting outside the door of the Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Redruth, for the Cornwall O Gauge Group's exhibition. Just hope I'm not an hour early...
