  4. Only certain trains won't be controlled by the App, The phone in question is only used with the DR5000, the home network has been deleted, most trains work fine, it is just a few that it will not accept, my Wireless Maus also will not accept them, I fear it is a brand of decoder that will not work with the system, as some of them are hard wired in! but I am sure they have worked previously, so not a wi fi issue, I am afraid, Thanks
  5. Yeah. Realised afterwards. Couldn't see a reason. Could move the Locos using the computer but still not with the Phones?
  6. DR5000 app? Didn't know there is one, is that Android?
  7. Hi all, I run my layout with DR5000 and the Z21 app, and today I will not accept certain addresses as Locos? when I enter them it will not allow me to change direction or move them, the same applies with my wireless maus, they are entered into the library as locos, they are not in some small address range, so far have found - 73, 90, 6441, 6800, other locos I try work perfectly, Can anyone help? Phil

  9. A chance encounter at Manchester Victoria Friday morning due to Chat Moss flooding
  10. I love the way they seem to be offering it DCC fitted or Sound fitted! What is the point if the chassis is knackered?
  11. 195002 was on the 0715 Ellesmere port to Leeds, left Manchester Victoria at 0820ish I was on it from Newton le willows,
  12. now all my track has been laid. My attentions now move to signalling. Period is Late 80s early 90s the fiddle yard is on the left. I expect a signal to exit the sidings at the top with some sort of shunt signal. The right side of the plan the far right is a platform. And it's former yard and goods shed has been repurposed as a wagon works. I would like working signals but not up to scratch building them. Semaphore or colour lights. Thoughts are signal with shunt signal on approach, exit to stabling point at top of layout and exit to station yard. And a starting signal for platform? Does that sound right? Thanks in advance Phil
  13. Think I asked light- medium weathering.
  14. I had mine done by Sawyer models Very impressed
  15. The next question is one of signalling. Late 80s early 90s is the period. The depot plan has changed slightly but don't expect much if any signals in there. Maybe just on the head shunt and maybe leading on to the head shunt. Any Ideas? I will also start a thread on the signalling side of the forum. Thanks Phil
  16. There are modifications to the TPE 68s to put door controls and Destination screens in the cabs, So very unlikely if at all possible I am afraid, Phil
  17. A bit of track weathering and a Name. Welcome to Logandale and Holgate Sidings :-)
  18. Track laying nearly completed. Made a senic purchase today Not the fueling point the servicing point. Thinking of running a line between the servicing point and fueling point. But would both have been there? Tank unloading would be on the unconected line in front This is the complicated trackwork at the Depot/Station/Yard entrance. Happy so far
  19. Track nearly finished in the Station and yard area :-)
  20. Sorry not getting notifications of posts. Yes the line from near to Cornbrook to Trafford park. 323s have used to stadium station in the past but don't seem to for a few years now. There is also a turn back siding nearby for EMUs.
