  5. Sorry not been on this thread for a while, the car carriers at Springs Branch were sat for a long time at Edge Hill with at least one axle on wheelskates, think they are there for repair or other attention

  7. Is there or has there ever been a prototypical example of a washer on a dead end siding? that said, I think I prefer the 2nd plan, but with some other use for the rear siding, eg. crane, stored stock or just shunters perhaps?

  10. Having just been through the 3 way point at lime street, I can say that the 3 wires run parallel up to the point then split without crossing eachother in this location
  11. There is shuch a thing on the approach to Platform 1-3 at Liverpool lime street, but due to the complexity of the area I think there is 3 parallel wires on the approach
  12. Lol, I was amused :-) as I said I am now married to a wonderful and understanding lady who goes on Railtours and model railway shows, and encouraged me to start to travel on European railways :-) Thankyou not got much done on it lately life does get in the way a bit

While dating,I met up with one lady at a bookshop, I arrived early and had a look round and found a book I wanted called Platform Souls, we met and got on quite well... until she saw the bag and asked what I bought. I showed her she daid "you're not a trainspotter are you?" I answered sort of. "You never put that on you're profile, any way I have to go now." That was the last I heard from her and she blocked me. Luckily I have now met someone who accepts my hoby so was my gain :-)
