  1. Ok, I tried the above and no joy, however I thought I would remove the DCC chip and try on DC, Runs much better not stopping still a bit jerky but moving, I was using a Hattons 6 pin chip?
  2. Did that just before and ran it a while before the video
  3. I have just purchased the Hattons Ltd edition "Hurricane" and It is cogging even on the Rolling road. Has anybody found a solution? Very frustrating https://youtu.be/OHNt4wYxLqE
  4. The 1st batch had a different blind panel when build.
  5. Not spoiled. I can only see them close up don't see how I am going to even notice it on the layout. Still happy with it.

  10. Ran mine at the club last night both directions ran well and very quiet. Happy with it. Now just to chip it :-)
  11. Just picked up my Thunderbird 1 today will test tonight and report back,
  12. Thanks, yes I did mean Junction indicators, the choice of routes at Salford Crescent have not changed but the signals have where previously there were feathers for routes, now we have Theatre Boxes, still 3 possible routes. It is possible that a 4th route could be added at Crescent, to create Bi Directional running into Salford Central, but that would require new pointwork in an already cramped junction layout. Unless the next signals are to receive boards with the Letters given at the previous signal as in the west end of Manchester Victoria. ie, the lines are named Up Salford Fast, Down Salford Fast, Up Salford Slow and Down Salford Slow If approaching Victoria but leaving Victoria they are E, D, C and B.
  13. It was asked during construction of a layout at the club about the rules regarding the above, but the question has come to my mind again because of developments at Salford Crescent. What are the rules about the above, but as recently Salford Crescent was resignalled for Bi directional running towards Ordsall Lane Jn with Route indicators. however over the last week the same signals have been replaced with Theatre Boxes? So is it just a whim? At the time I assumed line speed was a reason, Higher speed Route indicator, low speed Theatre box, Thanks Phil
  14. In summer of 1988 i had a full set of Network Southeast MK1s on a relief service to London Euston from Preston with an 85 on the front came from I think Glasgow.
  15. Yes the daytime headlights only apeared during the last northern franchise. I started on the railway in 2003 and it was a few years befor they were modified.
  16. I many years ago had a Deltic in Scotrail livery. On the assumption that Deltics were used instead of 47s for their 10mph top speed
  17. Chester to Leeds service will be Northern 158s I am afraid
  18. I did wonder that myself, I was very surprised to see the lamp facing the loco
  19. I witnessed at Manchester Victoria the other day one of the stone trains formed of HTA coal hoppers with a tail lamp on both ends of the rake, only the rear one lit of course.
  20. I am pretty sure that refurbished Northern 156s will have to be fitted as well
  21. Mine arrived this morning nd was a little disappointed. I use Kaydees and found the pocket is very big so needs padding. Also the wheels rotate and the pockets are attached and rock so may have to glue them.
  22. As promised here are the pictures, I remember some confusion earlier in the year as DCC supplies opened the model to check for me
