  1. Hi all looking for decent wire for my droppers? Using the clips to attach to bus wire and the wire I currently use doesn't always get caught by the blade. Any suggestions for suppliers? Thanks
  2. Mine arrived with one loose buffer in the box. Just popped it back in and it seems fine now.
  3. Track laying begins. This is the Fiddle Yard
  4. Yes had a sound chip fitted took it out to better see the damage
  5. One of my Heljan class 47s 47555 when placing it on my Anyrail print outs, I noticed one of the bodies wouldn't turn. I took the body off and the various bits came out. Has this happened to anybody else? Looks like I need at least 1 part to fix it. Where can I get this? Thanks Phil
  6. Fair enough bit far then
  7. Decided now is the time to move from planning topic to layout topic, Fiddle yard bottom left there is a yard for shunting in the contents may change dependent on mood eg, civils, coaches, preserved etc, the running line passes the Depot, to a small station with a wagon works in the old goods yard. And a couple of mock ups

  12. Having a little thought re the Yard, I do Have a small collection of Steam engines, An Andrew Barclay, Peckett, a sentinal Shunter, 2 pannier tanks and 2 J94s, The Idea is this- The 3 lines at the Left hand of the layout is an old Exchange sidings with part of the private line taken over by a small preservation soc. extending the curved Headshunt to go down and under the Loco depot to a hidden run round loop under the layout, with the rest of the layout climbing from the FY round to the pointwork near the depot entrance, to get clearance for the private line! with the small yard near the station now a Wagon repair works, with most of the layout on the higher level, any thoughts? Phil
  13. the "yard" near the FY is only expected to have limited access to the traverser this is expected and planned for, I will just use it for shunting. so not really worried about that, thanks for the advice, Phil
  14. There was some talk of TPE taking over the Liverpool to Nottingham part of the EMT service and keeping all the 185s at one point
  15. as above decided that roundy would not give me and interesting enough operation, current plan as above, Yard headshunt, depot and CE sidings next to station, Phil
  16. Yes, I thought that, but it was just the way Anyrail sorted it, Have since decided to go with operational interest and go with end to end with sidings and depot. I think the roundy roundy would get dull very quickly, Latest plan to follow Phil
  17. So messing around with the above Idea has lead me to this. More messing may give me more FY sidings, with a planned low level Preserved Railway as I have a few small steam engines. the single line branch started as a turnback siding, and developed. What do you think?
  18. Yes I Have had it apart now and as you say the screw has come out, and as I put it back together it comes out again. Might look at your solution, Thanks Phil
  19. Thanks I might have a look at the Kernow one then.
