Last night marked my first trip to our club room in 17 months.

To hell with tomorrows football.  Us rugby fans have spent most of today enjoying a succession of try-scoring extravaganzas!

Anxiety causes panic which causes you to look at a piece of code for 2 hours and wonder why it is not returning a table of data.....only to discover because you were not binding the data to the table.

Sometimes I really wonder if I am cut out for this work.

Have you noticed on the Amazon advert 'Pompey destroyed in 79AD', the Alexa moves itself as the camera focuses in. Creepy or what!

V-Day for me finally booked, T - 8 days and counting

Reading RM from Oct 1990 and getting depressed about the prices of things.

At what point do you feel you are, perhaps, taking your hobby too seriously?  Is it when you find yourself drilling microscopic holes in the back of a 4mm scale shed door in which to insert coat pegs, or when you find yourself re-drilling those holes on the slant because you've recalled that coat pegs are usually tilted up slightly?

Why is that a drip or a splash of paint will stick with far greater tenacity to an unprepared, unsuitable surface (a trouser leg, say, or a floor in need of cleaning) than it will when carefully applied to a properly prepared surface that is allegedly perfectly suited to the type of paint in use?

Can't believe I've got no gloss black enamel.

I returned to work this morning, bursting with enthusiasm, only to be reminded that I had Retired in 2014.  Ah well, at least I tried.

Just given swmbo a haircut. I should have taken all the mirrors away first! Out of interest would scenic scatter glue work on human hair?
