  1. Suggest use both, you can't have too many panniers...
  2. Blob of blue-tac could work wonders for keeping your flux, alternatively invest in a bottle holder from London Road Models for the high-tec solution.
  3. The view from the other side of the bridge, Parson Street Station in 1978. Note the lamps going the full length of the platform. For some serious changes, look in Adrian Vaughan's book of GW architecture, on the left by the church is the remains of the original bridge that only spanned two tracks. The view from the other side of the bridge by Parson Street station, looking towards Malago Vale carriage sidings, this view has changed substantially.
  4. Just thought - could get it printed with a suitable logo!
  5. Has anyone got hold of the new Dapol pannier and put Chris's pannier chassis under it - see if it fits?
  6. Sorry Eric, I wasn't having a go, but the two pictures do make an interesting comparison. Though I drive over that bridge regularly, it's been quite a while since I last looked over it.
  7. Not a bad idea Frank, what material is it made of?
  8. Since this is the changing face, here is the same view 27/08/78. Note West Depot Down side is still in.
  9. Looking good Dave. As it's now at a safe comfortable height, it will help with the back breaking job of sticking those chairs on.
  10. Thanks Jerry, looking forward to seeing the train set at Warley!
  11. Are there going to be any Track Books left by then? I was going to pick up mine at Warley.
  12. It's all my fault, I should never have written that article! Go it Nick, looks good...
  13. It turns out the Woodland Scenics bag did not contain scatter but foliage material. Grrrrr...

What did it say on the outside of the packet?...

      Wise guy!

I thought I had it in stock, turned out I was wrong...

LOL! 'Wisdom is as Wisdom does'.... and all that! Our local garden centre actually does an acceptable form of fine ground foam for scenic scatter - maybe you have one handy, if you need this stuff on a Sunday?

  14. Coming together nicely Captain. Of interest, why the name "Dando" on the lorry?
  15. Juxtaposing Midland signals and GWR water columns, rather like the Forest of Dean railways Captain!
  16. In a similar situation for inlaid track, I used phosphor bronze rails instead of steel. It was though intended that no electrical contact was necessary down those rails. Those sets look good, I thought cobbles were rounded?
  17. This is only half the layout, the rest.....
  18. Blimey, I've only just got back, and you've posted already! I can confirm that Delph (Holt) looks pretty impressive, and the underside too.
  19. Try the RH coupling rod on the LH side and vice versa. That way you will reduce the variables. Also compare the coupling rod's length.
  20. My mods are detailed in this thread, along with the criticisms!
  21. I've popped some pictures of Brislington into my gallery.
  22. I've put a selection of pictures in my gallery.
  23. Inside keyed track - rarely modelled. I have a picture of the gate at Camerton, I'll look it out.
