      They can't afford to lose the skills required to train new recruits. But the 'tap' controlling the inflow of new cannon fodder will have been turned down to a drip.

      yes, sadly that has dawned on me. i just cannot see in amillion years how I can afford model rail stuff, so im selling what I have and buying some more fishing gear. Plsu where I am I can catch/keep 4 trout a day for $34 a year!
