      Tell me about it Simon ... I think some people have such a high opinion of themselves that they simply can't believe they are wrong, and normally they know little to nothing of the subject matter.

      People were talking uninformed nonsense long before Youtube, the only difference now is that with the internet we come across far more of them! Adding comments, especially as a professional, is tricky because some people take it very personally as you are aware. One option is to contact them directly to avoid the public dimension. To be fair, I assumed signalling wasn't that complicated until I read your book and you kindly gave some advice to me on here!

      But don't worry, most of the suit wearing breathern that inhabit the railway these days, are only fly-by-nights, they keep moving around. the main reason? Well its so that when the *uck ups that they have caused is discovered they are safely out of the way, leaving it to others to pick up the pieces. Treat them with the contempt they deserve.... I have to!
