  4. Sorry for the delay. I only found the paperwork at Christmas when looking for something else (that's usually the case) No more progress on my Diesel Tram, the Drewry is still in primer, awaiting a slot in the paint shop
  5. Stunning Jeff, the locomotive crossing over the viaduct brings the scene to life. Top work mister. ……… and it’s a Britannia to
  6. In response to some of the above posts. I think we are looking at some of the best and most realistic scenic modelling, I have seen in a long time. Jeff has taken his time building a fantastic viaduct using individually shaped DAS stones, metres and metres of dry stone walls using individual DAS stones and static grass and foliage to create amazing embankments and all the discussions are about painted clouds, which are minor to the overall picture. I for one applauded what you have achieved and look forward to seeing this layout develop further in the coming years. I also look forward to seeing Hell Ghyll sidings and your dioramas come to life in the coming months and the display of your 00 stock. keep up the top work Jeff.

  8. That’s one very nice 9F Jeff. I didn’t realise that the S & C had double deck dual gauge track very flash . Is this loco one that requires re gauging to EM? It would look amazing coming over the viaduct and through that cutting you have created .
  9. Well Jeff, as you were not good it looks like Santa forgot to adorn the Golden Arrows, in saying that the Golden Arrow Boat train rarely went via the S & C on its way to Dover . Rule 1 Lovely looking Loco there, very nicely weathered. It will look the business on Hell Ghyll Sidings You really need to get one re gauged for Gill Head.
  10. Wow. A Golden Arrow Britannia from Santa. You must have been a good boy all year (unlikely)
  11. Looks like Santa has called at Hell Ghyll . How exciting!!!!
  12. Well Jeff. Let the fun begin. Looking forward to the reveal of all these mystical steam locomotives. You really need to get some converted to run over that viaduct on Gill Head and through that sweeping cutting. A 9F on hoppers or 16 t minerals…….. now that would be special. DAS have been put on alert for a large order imminent in early 2022, destination the North West
