I think that is just great. There's something really satisfying about re-working old, indifferent models and producing something that's going to be useful. I want a Pom Pom in N Gauge (I know about the Union Mills version) - I think your model rteally catches the flavour well. Excellent! Did they all have red coupling rods in the late forties early fifties? You might also want to consider that by that time nearly all of them had LNER flower pot chimnies of various differeing heights? I believe the reconstituted Alan Gibson company do them in 4mm. Best wishes Alastair
