  1. I agree with you 57xx. I'll have an OO gauge one in 2 years.

Well the end of July is here and none of the P2's are here.
  3. This was in Hattons new releases page
  4. Yes the T9 has a metal boiler and so too will the 700 Black motor, J15 and I think D16 as well.
  5. I can't wait for this model. When my next work season starts in December I will be ordering one for definite. I model 1950's Western Region but the BR development team in the late 40's have created a new train set that is years (about 20 or so I'd say) ahead of it's time!
  6. Thanks for the reply Dave. Maybe one to consider for the future perhaps? Provided Bachmann don't get there first of course
  7. I think it's pretty clear that the sound models will be treated as a seperate line to the non sound models. Therefore both seperate lines will begin at No1 with the certificates.
  8. Any chance you'll upsize this to OO gauge next year? Bachmanns outdated model is ripe for replacement

I agree. And with the only preserved example of an inside cylinder 4-6-0, it has that special something about it.

There is an A1 tornado with TTS listed for this year in her Blue livery.

TTS is Hornby's new low cost range of dcc sound. Installed in several railroad locomotives as well, this effectively means you can have dcc sound for less than the cost ad a brand new high spec Class 60 model. It's a fantastic way to bring sound to a lot more people. Hornby have developed their own sound decoder for this range, as adding the ESU decoder a pushed the price well over £200.

Have just watched the video. Sounds absolutely fabulous. Cannot air for this release. Well die. Hornby.
  13. It does look fabulous behind Mallard.
  14. Where did you get the fantastic Dynamometer Coach? Is it the Golden Age model or a kit built example? It looks stunning.
  15. Can you please explain what a wibble is Jason? Lol

Can I ask what release booklet you refer to here? Do you mean this years catalogue or something different?
  18. The buffers are removable.
  19. I would love to have some more silver A4's. 2510, 2511, or 2512. 2509 is pretty hard to find now
  20. I will definitely be bordering one of these. Somehow it will have been saved via the power of magic, and will appear along side the Hogwarts Express on my Kings Cross to Goathland/ Platform 9 3/4 to Hogwarts layout.
  21. Good to see some progress on these newly announced models. Although I'd like to see the models announced for last year released first ie the Hall.

That would be a great model. Tender seems a bit small tho lol
  23. How about giving them time to release their OO model first? It has only just been released, perhaps they will move into n after they see how popular it is in OO?

Looks like a very smooth runner.
  25. Yep in this case it is definitely a case of prototypical behaviour.
