Yes the viaduct will be a curved corner module, although the backside will end in a corner, disguised by a hill in the 'distance'.

Well I have made a start on the Kings cross end of the railway. I have managed to. Get my hands on 8 sections of Hornby's platform 9 3/4 arches, as released in the R8204 & R8240 station packs, and these have been glued together. Pics will follow. I'm planning on moulding another unit to double it's current length and then the construction of the baseboard for that module can begin.

This is getting ridiculous. BRM made a video of a Hornby P2 last year. If they had one then, why is it taking so long to release them?

From the preproduction pics it looks as though the smokebox section is a separate fitting so they may produce the streamlined version.

Yes it will be metal bodies. Being such a small loco, as per the T9, it will need all the weight it can get.

Don't forget though that the 2-BIL was out only a few months after initial announcement. Granted they had production samples shown in the announcement. Perhaps Hornby are being very discreet about this (possibly) imminent release? Not hopeful though lol

I agree. From memory, all GWR since the granges have had small flaws haven't they? Granted the 42/52.72xx had some major ones, and the star with those god awful moulded cab handrails, but there more difficult to correct.

Does anyone else have trouble with droopy couplings? My Ark Royal fails to couple properly sometimes, resulting in derailments.

I had 3 castles and consider them one of the best steamers. I'm now collecting 50's which has to be one of the diesels available. I wouldn't mind having a complete set of those, with all the preservation liveries too.

I model BR WR but one of these might find it's way on a interregional working lol. Just because I can haha. Bring on the dirty BR versions

I put in a vote for the GWR Grange and Castle being the best Steam, with the Class 60 being the ultimate OO gauge diesel from any manufacturer.

It has more sounds, I believe 16 in all, but I can't imagine it would be any different quality than the ESU sound they have.

So I have now completed the first 3 coach interiors. Brake 99723, compo 99716, and open 99317. The only remaining things I need for these three are students and the Hogwarts Crest Roundels for each side. If any knows of a BSK and an SK for sale that is not weathered, please let me know. I'm struggling to find these last 2.

I will be another 4mm modeller to buy one. Purely to sit on my shelf. Possibly 60081 GWR green or 60007 loadhaul would be my preferences.
