    I'm in the process of building a small station terminus exhibition layout and I want to use either 3 link coupling or sprat winkle Being it's a small layout there will be lots of shunting of wagons and coaches Stock wise it's about 6 locos 5 coaches and about 15 to 20 wagons So what are your thoughts pro and cons on both types of coupling Regards darren

    Hi jonathan Thanks for the information I did see that wagon list when I stumbled across that website . I think it does come down to either converting a airfix kit or living with the inaccurate Bachmann model , who knows if every gwr modeller badgered peco they may end up producing a model Daz

    Hi This may sound a stupid question did the station building signal boxes and other station equipment get repainted after nationalisation or did it stay the same colours ,if it did change when did that happen? Hope that makes sense Darren

    With all these show now being cancelled please remember some of the trade survive on going to exhibitions to make ends meat , so now it's time to support our traders I will certainly be ordering kits that I would of purchased at shows because I dont wish to loose more traders because they have lost out on our money not going to the show

    What would you say is the ratio of T9s ,WC/BBs and n classes that you would need to run a north Cornwall layout I have a ratio 1 t9 to 2wc/bb and 3 N class would you say that looks correct Daz

    I Was told this very sad new on the day of his passing away and was shocked by the news i was fortunate to work with Vernon in the days of modelzone, He was a amazing guy to work with he will sorely be missed by the model railway community my thoughts go to kerry and the children at the hard time
