I am looking at doing a small shelf layout like yours how many wagons do you use on your layout
Kind regards daz
Hi everyone
I have just embarking on a n scale switching layout and i would like some advice ob the best couplings to use .
Im at the stage were i need ti consider this before i buy to much more stock for the layout.
My main stipulations
1 good for switching
2 easy to fit all manufacture
3 easy to buy in uk
Kind regards Daz
hi jim
would you know what the wagon numbers of this train as would like to model this train
and being a southerner i don't get much chance to pop up that way
daz
hi mark yes they are the ones , their is also this one http://ukrailwaypics.smugmug.com/UKRailRollingstock/J-/JXA-bogie-scrap-carriers/i-m9kMdVT/A
this has flat ends and bogies that are available already
daz
yes another vote for a ffa/fga with that you could aslo do super tench wagon and kfa wagons here
also sheerness scrap wagons and any on track plant (working or non working)
emu i would love a 377
loco wise a 20/3
all in n guage
daz
how about a crane i know some one had started one but the thread seems to of gone quite .wagon wise how about the sheerness pxa wagons i know bogies would have to been done on them too

hi Chris thanks for the link ive used that page plus the books i have on wc/bb i try and always model from pictures to as you find other things that you can always find out from books like what BR creast they had at a perticular time.
Ive just recived today two more WC today which will become BB over the weekend.
I've got a number of unrebuilt Bulleid pacifics some with the high sided tenders i got the last name plates and crest this weekend at Tolworth show.
4mt T9s and N classes ive got a good stud to also have 3mt renumbered and a bettie tank on order. so now just looking for odd locos
im looking at moedelling the north cornwal line ive got a list from the web and the few books ive got but they all seem to have pictures of the normal stud of SR locos that ran down there but im after any strange or odd locos that run down there .like did any M7s get down there
