  1. I have checked with PayPal about my 2 x£30 payments made in October2016 and January 2107, both paid via my Bank account [not credit card},also PayPal representative said he was unaware of any repayment order and that DJM's account was still open, I presume having paid via the Bank account I presume this bars me from claiming via Article 75 and noting Andy York's latest post of small claims court costs , I will leave things as they are, and rest in the knowledge of receiving a class 92 from Accurascale which I ordered 3 months back.[along with a Deltic and Transpennine coaches]
  2. The biggest problem is that on past experience 0f the DJM models there is an unacceptable waiting time for news, never mind the end product
  3. Appears to be a lot of boredom on this topic [class 92 not GOT]
  4. I think you could double that.{ Chris Bacon post 2 up }
  5. Was the item in the "Big Box" a class 92, as 4 years may seem almost correct ?
  6. You could telephone Bachmann service they are usually helpful and probably would tell you how to take the body off and any other things you may need to do

    Missed the boat

Arcadia Shaw 01706 882900 had one [may have more] earlier in the week.
  8. Have to admit I was a bit of a disbeliever about the class 90 decoder, but having seen the Andy York video at Kernow the cost of the decoder I do not think exorbitant considering its functions, also at the time not realising it was a Zimo decoder. The 90 does appear to be an excellent model and I have ordered one from my local model shop
  9. It has taken over 2 (getting on for3) years from the first crowdfunding payments to the point of a request for a second payment, I wonder how long would we have to wait for a 3ed and final payment and onto a model produced, On the history of progress we could be looking at 2024 before a model would be seen, I don't think I am willing to wait and see. Accurrascale are expecting delivery in 2020 of their 92 as far as I know ,they have not closed their ordering book or set any deadline for ordering as yet.
  10. Said the dog sorry it is getting stupid
  11. But would crowd funders trust DJM enough to pay another £50+ on a second payment, with a further payment down the line if he confirmed he would be going ahead with the Class 92? If the "announcement" Topic is to go by the answer is probably if not certain to be no.
  12. Because DJM has nothing to say and is absent anyway
  13. Hello, Thank you for the information and prompt reply
  14. Sorry if this has been covered, but will all the Deltics that are listed in your Listing be delivered together or will there be a selection of dates for each Model? Ps I have ordered Gordon Highlander
  15. And as the last paragraph states, he still takes his salary with no tangible evidence of a proposed model forthcoming, in my opinion all DJM states is" hot air",
  16. It would appear he has certainly shot himself in the foot regarding his latest [if you can call 2016 latest] crowdfunding enterprises, regarding the class 92 ,nearly 3 years and no positive signs of a model being made,.Fortunately this announcement has probably saved the crowdfunders losing more money, as there supposedly was to be a higher second instalment imminent, [well in DJM 's timing] The announcement has in the end probably or more likely been to Accurascales benefit.
  17. Article on Facebook, the new 24 versions are developing well and we may see a "new" livery version by June , with the rest coming out at different times to help those with multiple purchases, I have 3 on order, Phil also stated that there has been a 70% take up on orders, so there could be sell outs before delivery, especially the "Scottish" 24 being popular
  18. The waiting list for models from all manufacturers , n gauge 00 gauge and O gauge seems to be expanding from weeks to months even years nowadays,
  19. I do know all the above, however there are Railway Modellers who do not read RM Web, and are not "savvy" with what you have noted, and in the end Bachmann are charging near £200 after 15% discount for a Class 90, plus if you wanted sound you would need the Zimo decoder plus sound files and your costing will near be £300.I have a feeling this could be shot in the foot for Bachmann.
  20. Seems to my point of view, the decoder business for the class 90 is just the latest effort of the DCC Purchaser having little choice when buying a Bachmann product, same as any sound locomotive Bachmann bring out. I personally would prefer to choose my own decoders to fit to my locos.
  21. Awaiting Lord Nelson from Rails ,honoured discount price, expected Saturday delivery.
