  1. Charlie Tried setting CV8 to8 on my iPad [using Z21] comes up programming error, tried it on Android same result Loco sometimes fires up and then dies. Not having much look as I said earlier it has only been used lightly and not for while until now.
  2. Hello Charlie, I was a bit slow on the uptake on the DC part, but managed to find a 21 blank pin and about 2ft of track and unit ran OK in both directions. I purchased the Model off yourself when I visited Partington 0 Gauge in 2018 or 2019 , you may remember the conversation and you told me if I paid in full there on credit card I would receive the Model sooner, you sent the unit to me later on when in stock , to be honest I think the transactions were probably 2018 . I would conclude the chip s faulty although lights and sound work and a replacement possibly required let me know any costings for a replacement. Regards John Thanks again for your assistance in this matter
  3. Charlie, Tried it on DC fired up lights came on managed about 3 inches a couple of times in one direction, nothing in the other direction, Went back to original direction nothing now on that. Any other reasons why the unit appears to have failed. John
  4. Likewise, I have the Collectors Club class 90 Sound and it is a very good runner no faults at all.
  5. Hello Charlie thanks for your fast response, yes it does droop about quarter of an inch, the other end has a slight tilt. What can be done to rectify the droop?
  6. Hello I have a Scotrail 156 unit and it appears one of the units has failed it tries to move but only gets about 3 inches sound works for that short distance and then like the loco cuts out , I have removed the body thinking there may have been drive shaft loose, but the model does not use them. The sound chip sounds ok so that's not blown I have re set the unit back to 3 and lights and sound work for a short time but the unit will not move, it does move a little with my finger pressed on the top of the unit [body still is off the chassis. wonder if anybody else has had this problem. The other unit works fine on its own but is unable to pull the failed unit. I have not yet contacted Charlie with it being a "Bank Holiday"[every day is a bank holiday at the moment for the majority}I will try early next week to contact Charlie Realtrack. However I would appreciate any suggestions to my problem, wiring perhaps. Thanks in anticipation John {Brittannia
  7. Good to hear from you Alan, Good luck with your O gauge set up.
  8. Always liked the Porterbrook Livery on Gordon Highlander, you certainly could spot it amongst the exhibits at a Doncaster Works open day in the early 2000s .Anyway I have ordered and paid in full for a sound model of "The Highlander" Thanks Accurascale
  9. I use a post office credit card for all my international payments, they do not charge any commission for international payments also give an excellent exchange rate normally the official exchange rate for the day . My account is with the Irish section of the Post Office ps I use a Black Z21 with an I Pad, small and big also you can use the wirelesss or wired Roco hand sets
  10. I have dealt with MSL for 5 years, and found them very reliable ,very fast delivery, spend over100 euro and postage is only 3.95 euros, also when I have had to return a product they send a postage shipment label free of charge .Also if you register with them you get a 3% credit to spend on any future orders. They can be contacted via email
  11. Received my 4 Rawie Buffer stops [2 with lights and 2 sets no lights]]They are very good value for money, They were well packed for postage which was quick. Thanks again, Best wishes for the upcoming festive season John
  12. Thanks for the update on the 92, you always said the working pantograph was always going to be the challenging part of the model .I am sure everybody interested in the 92 will be happy to have the delay and the working pantograph, especially at no cost for all the extra work and stress you have encountered, plus no price increase gives us more time to think of ordering an extra 92, Keep up the good work Regards John
  13. Probably, but then again there is always "the. its my layout I'll run what I like"
  14. I am sure Accurascale will be able to provide a fit for purpose "working Pantograph". I have 2 ESU class 151 Locomotives, both have working Pantographs at both ends of the Locos, which Lift up and down depending on direction, they also have "engine Flash" and sound that goes with the start up. The ESU 151 is about £100 dearer than the planned 92, though the body is a metal casting . I have had both models for over 3 years with no problems,
  15. An update on my earlier post [Tuesday 12 November] just had an email from SLW that my two tone green 24 is on its way to me to-day[ Friday]
  16. My card also charged today for 5040, would imagine will probably come within a few days, if 97201 was an indication .
  17. Seem to me both of the above posts are not about the Main Article of the Forum, which is about the SLW Class 24 and not " nitpickings about the" extras"
  18. Visited Hazel Grove today and was really impressed by Deadmans lane layout, plenty of interesting train formations, some very lengthy ones, the Yellow models were mainly backgound scenes and some shunting movements. The class 60 movement with the lengthy EWS and VTG tanks formation were very interesting. just to mention one of many other formations Today seemed quiet and easy to view the layouts easily.
  19. It would appear that more than 97201 maybe in the pipeline as I have ordered 3 different Locos , Including 97201, my others being one of the Scottish Locos and a later green model, although I have a feeling my order of 97201 may have been duplicated as I have been charged £268 for each of the 3 , whereas I was under the impression the "Scottish locos" were a little more expensive .I will have to get in touch with SLW tomorrow. SLW are aware that some payments have been duplicated and are in the process of correcting the overcharge and only 97201 is due to be sent.
  20. Glad you have had a positive ending to your Pullman problem.
  21. Thanks Andy for the above shots of the forthcoming Accurascale Deltic they are absolutely magnificent.,
  22. Thanks for sharing the informant video of the class 55 Deltic, certainly looking forward tp 2020 and receiving Gordon Highlander, yes I am one of the "odd" ones who want a purple Deltic, remember seeing it Crewe open day and at Bury Diesel Special Weeks, managed to drive a class 40 there amongst others.
  23. I was refunded £60 by Santander on a goodwill payment , they did not accept a refund on the £60 via my current account and PayPal, presumably they paid out to a longstanding customer .I think that was admirable on their part, easing the unpalatable treatment we all received from DJ Models.
  24. Only just seen these to order, thanks for the update , more than interested in the LED ones
  25. I think it is "Sorted", your wish for free coffee and biscuits and parking can still be had by purchasing other manufacturers models
