  1. Look at Rails sale of recent Lord Nelsons, Duchesses, their own limited editions, lots of 30.40% reductions
  2. I have just been told by my Bank Complaints Department, that they are to credit my account with £60, for 2 class 92s, but this payment is of a "good will" payment ,because they felt they had handled my case incorrectly. Therefore they have not accepted any liability via payment by PayPal and my bank account paid to DJModels.
  3. Also the class 92 list seems very low on sales, does it all point to DJModels relying heavily on "Trade Support" and not us crowdfunders for the 92 to come to the market.
  4. Looking forward to the Class 92 with sound, pre-ordered couple of months ago along with couple of other Accurascale models (Deltic and TPE coaches)
  5. It has been the trend over the past few years, that models have an ambitious promise of delivery times on new models which are unable to be kept too, In the end it is all in the hands of the Chinese factories when models turn up.
  6. Forgot to say the Bank officials in the main, do not understand the length of time it takes for Model Railway Manufacturers to produce a model,so you may have to "educate " them in ins and outs of ordering manufacture and possession of a model.
  7. You will need to have the dates when you paid the deposits to DJModels,, also make sure you are adamant that you speak to somebody at the "Bank" understands the chargeback system also do mot forget to tell them that the claim starts from the Liquidation date .The letter from the Liquidators is 20 pages long via email.. Good Luck
  8. See my post above, I paid by PayPal which was covered by my bank account card, Santander have said the claim is covered via the "Debit card System" although they want proof from the Liquidators, and will be then decided upon, Also have look on the spreadsheet forum and you will see that some have been refunded having paid via PayPal
  9. Due to some of the posts on this forum regarding claims with a Debit Card, I have been in touch with Santander and after a long telephone conversation it does appear that my 2 payments to DJModels are covered by the Debit Card Recovery system, they are sending me a form to claim and they also want confirmation from the Liquidators, I have previously listed my claim to the the Liquidators so that is not a problem, I might add it took time to get through to the "right Select account" adviser ,because the first person I spoke to told me I was not covered, but due to the aforesaid posts have been important in my quest to speak to the "right person" So it's wait and see, I will update when I have news

    Missed the boat

Doubt many here on RMWeb will call Dave Jones "Lamented" more like "charlatan"
  11. My payments were well in advance of the above listed events, presumably 2016/17 payments were not a problem to PayPal at the time, thanks for listing the above

    Missed the boat

Also you could sell the decoder if the Dapol one, recommended cost price new is approx. £33
  13. So DJM thought, pick a number, that reads great; job done
  14. Thanks for your replies, I had not thought that DJM would list all orders of his collection of hopeful "projects", it would be interesting to note what orders the APTs were and they ,obviously would prove what his "system" may have been.
  15. and unfortunately some of us did not have that possibility, I do wonder what was the deciding factor on the decision not to refund ALL payments, certainly when I asked the question some time ago to PayPal their reply was evasive to say the least, also claiming that DJModels still had an active account at the time
  16. {[My details added for 2 OO class 92, my invoices 0491 October 2016 and 0612 January 2017, if these order numbers are to be believed he had at least 612 orders by January 2017 . Or are some of these so called orders no deposits, if not He had received £18,360 by early 2017, also he never told us truthfully any costings or what he was doing with the above Deposits. Infact I was unable to view his website because I had been a "late" crowdfunder, but I would be "privileged" to be able to gain access after a second "Crowdfunded deposit", but by this time 2018 I had decided I would not be paying anymore money to him. I have sent my details to the liquidators as I was one of those who paid via PayPal and was not refunded these payments.{I have already given details in an earlier post about PayPals non reaction to this, and the subsequent payment by Bank Account.
  17. Like all previous posts I completed the survey, a great idea to see what modellers would like to see from a manufacturer, thought the questionnaire was very good to include the different gauges, will be very interesting to see the final results
  18. Why did you not notify E Bay and ask for full refund, instead of using Bachmann ?
  19. Latest news from Tower Models September hopefully, some more photos and information on upgrade from the earlier Lionheart model
  20. The PayPal representative did not give me the impression of him holding back any information, more an unknowing of any problems with DJM and I would rather agree with your comment "but now I am wondering if the refunds and repay by other means was designed to avoid PayPal fees " I did not get any information from DJM and when I queried him on not receiving any updates he gave the excuse of emails being blocked and look in the "spambox". Also I found it strange that he would not allow me to register to his website until after a second payment was to be made. That started the alarm bells in my mind and I had already written of my deposit anyway and had decided to order from Accurascale. In reply to Colin Mcleods posting onpage 23 and it would appear Colin's name has been i
  21. I have replied to the above and it seems the posting has been split
  22. Great news the class 92 has been signed off for tooling in China and is on course for delivery 1st quarter 2020
  23. That's what I thought and I did query the Paypal representative about his comments,
  24. Thanks Woodenhead for your information, it was as I suspected and although £60 down at the moment, it was as I had suspected as early as 2018, before the CAD files were sent out which came as a surprise as I had long given up on DJM bringing the CL 92 to market.
  25. It would have courteous of David Jones to have contacted his Crowdfunders of his dilemma, he was quick enough to send out payment requests, but there again it took him time to acknowledge these payments.
