Been a difficult day today. On Tuesday my Mum (who is 95 and has Alzheimers) fell and broke her hip. The excellent medical team at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford got it stitched up but found her bones are cracking up and prognosis is not good. After long talk today with very sympathetic doctor at the hospital agreed to DNR. Maybe most difficult deciscion I'll have to make but Mum's had a good innings. Sure it's what she would want me to do.

30 years has gone so fast we should never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Below is a poem by James Love called 'Fitzroy'.
Low and fast,
That’s how they came.
Screaming low across the ground.
I swear.
If I’d tried
I could have touched it, as it passed.
A trail of death and devastation,
They’d left behind.
Where the rising black plumes of smoke,
Lay testament to that.
