    Been a difficult day today. On Tuesday my Mum (who is 95 and has Alzheimers) fell and broke her hip. The excellent medical team at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford got it stitched up but found her bones are cracking up and prognosis is not good. After long talk today with very sympathetic doctor at the hospital agreed to DNR. Maybe most difficult deciscion I'll have to make but Mum's had a good innings. Sure it's what she would want me to do.

      I can fully sympathise with you. My great uncle was 106 when he did the same thing and my mother who cared for him had to make the DNR decision. It's one of the hardest decisions to make but sometimes the kindest. I wish you all the best.

    Currently trying to buy a car: overiding priorities irts got to fit in a Tuba, 2 border collies and a model railway layout, not necessarily at the same time. its a faff!!

      Havea look at A Vauxhall Zafira. Will transport dogs, tubas and model railways and fairly cheap to run. Might even be room for the odd operator if you need to take one:-)
