That is quite prototypical. Just make it a Sunday in winter on a branch line.

  2. I beg to differ Clive. My latest fine scale project has wheel flanges so fine they can't be seen with the naked eye. This you will note is a model of Bullied's high density sleeper coaches, where passengers were accommodated in drawers, being pulled by a semi-streamlined Q1. The coaches are being painted in that little known BR carmine & green livery (blood & grass). It is currently being prepared in readiness for the pre-Christmas special advent season. I've also authentically modelled the 5 link couplings, fitted to enable the coaches to navigate the tight curves found on ducks docks. (Please note no grass was smoked in the preparation of this post) Oh, I forgot to mention I've been asked for white or gold knobs

I have one of them. Covers 57 route miles from Manea to Chesterton Junction, Chippenham Junction to Downham and Lakenheath to Sutton. Not a train in sight.

  5. Strange, no subscribers have commented on what appears to be changes to the envelope labelling this month, certainly appeared to be in a different font. Or maybe mine was individually produced as I was a tardy in re-newing my subs.
  6. When I get itchy & scratchy SWMBO applies liberal quantities of E45 not 36E Betty Swallocks
  7. I hear Marsh Gibbon on a Saturday night is a bit like a firing range, or it was when I was last there Guinness the Gun Dog
  8. I would agree that Minerva service is first class. Had an issue with a Peckett loco I purchased and a replacement was sent before they had received the errant one back, Many thanks to both Chris B & Chris K
  9. Now I've had my Tramadol washed down with a single malt it's all perfectly clear Wonderwall
