  1. I don't think they actually have a 'lion' it was most likely never more than CGI.
  2. Apros of future ideas for spare Bachmann Deltics, say BR had decided to build Fifty instead of Twenty-two Deltics because... your preferred reason. What would the next twenty-eight locomotives be named as? Any ideas?
  3. Fran never said it was British now, did she.
  4. If you're right my wallet will be across the border inside of the hour! Failing that I want exactly one thing
  5. https://d63oxfkn1m8sf.cloudfront.net/3016/5346/6608/R3987_Cab.png Credit:https://uk.Hornby.com/community/blog-and-news/engine-shed/power-of-attraction?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Engine+Shed+-+It+s+a+Jubilee+Takeover+extravaganza!&utm_campaign=Hornby+-+Jubilee+Engine+shed+-+week+10+2022%2F23 Should that cab window, really be blanked off like that?
  6. Oh good grief the chrome on that 43 looks ridiculously tacky, it reminds me of that glitter paint that was slathered so thickly on toys you could scrape it off with a nail. Hmm, part add, part demo this time round, the 9F looks okay, not sure about that blanked off cab window, but I've been wrong before.
  7. I think your right, when I went and had a fiddle with chromes cookie settings, blocking all cookies cleared the problem right up, however it also signed me out and kept me out. I suppose asking Google, as in the company, to see if they can do something is a possibility though a doubtful one.
  8. Since we share a planet and the same plane of reality, it is fundamentally immaterial to ask if something is 'here' or 'there', the Deltics were always connected to us and thus always here, even if there physical attribute was there. They are thus Schrodinger's product, neither here nor there, but instead existing in both states at once. I could go on, but that is a rather large crowd of armed fellows rapidly approaching me, so I shall take my leave, good day.
  9. WHAT! CANCEL MY PREORDER, WORST MODEL EVER! 😜 Sarcasm, it’s sarcasm, DO NOT DO TH- You want me to buy a third one? I do it!
  10. With some pound shop trays you could extend it even further, might be difficult if you have wind, but then you'd want it somewhere sheltered anyway.
  11. I'd have thought that it would take more than a week to get from the Med to the UK. Maybe it has Napiers bellow decks.
  12. Nor Layout topics or Modelling musing either, it can't just be a fault on the site.
  13. Here we are almost on 2024 and we've still got both of you, but which one retained it youthful glow?
  14. They've been on the seas since April 8th, 36 days ago, it takes about a month to two months for a ship to get from China to the UK, so by that simple reckoning I'd say its perhaps in the channel, if not in a queue somewhere. Fran says about two weeks and those estimates are generally reliable
  15. Speak for yourself, in mine the powers that be decided to settle the gauge wars by averaging out 4.8 1/2 gauge and 7ft. This everything is 5ft. 9in wide at least.
  16. No joy with Wheeltappers or Prototype discussions for me either.
  17. @Accurascale Fran a Scotrail IC 55 from you lot would definitely get a pre-order of me, assuming my bandwidth is up to the job.
  18. Would that be a pre-view model or are the Deltics read for distribution?
  19. The 'UK prototypes discussion only' board isn't working, has this been mentioned?
  20. Those are hay bailers lad, they go behind the grass cutters. We used to have one on the farm that I was allowed to muck around with. Doing hays good for a work out and a spot of travel at summer, but its murder on the hands when you've got two loads nine gang high to throw on and off in a day and you forgot your gloves.
