  1. The second is a Red Stripe beast, I already have the Bachmann one but this is a worthy addition to the stable.
  2. Picked up, SORRY stitched into a couple of Vi Trains 37's at the weekend, (cheers George), the first is the Dutch 37056.
  3. Ha Ha Ha will they be at Bachmann's old prices or the NEW price?. There very nice, do you get the sound when driving them or is it lost with all the other rattles? Sorry for hijacking your thread Cav.
  4. Hi Jim, that Std 4 sounds nice. I have their 8F and its the Dogs, nice track plan too btw.
  5. Here are couple more pics of the wiring to the main board, the Street Lamps and Buffers are now wired into the track feed so its a lot less wiring underneath. Also I have wired all the lights into one feed to run across the length of the board instead of all the lights, lamps and buffers being run on individual wires. Just the points to wire in now and then do a multi plug to run to the control panel. Bodge
  6. Evening George, I may do a Trebudoc, i.e. rotate it 180 degrees and view from the other side. I've had a look and I think that looking at the Station / Platform across the board, rather than down from behind, it may well be better. If I do this there are a couple of items that may be changed or moved as they would never be seen from the front of the Layout. Firstly I will get the wiring finished and some legs sorted so that I can work on it a bit better.
  7. Now a PAIR OF SOUND 20's would be even nicer mate, hahahh Back to OO me thinks for that.
  8. Morning Mike, thanks for helping Jock out, I have tried re setting my camera but with no luck. Have a good day.
  9. Morning George, the plan is to eventually mate. how about you with Ashcombe? At tut today have a chat tonight if you not WORKING, hahah SORRY.
  10. Morning Jock. Re the pics, I just right click on mine, Edit, select pixels, change to 1074, save on your screen you will see no marked difference but they will upload strait away without problems. All the best mate.
  11. Morning Ray, yes really lazy at the moment, Sorting out the House Sale, Sorting out the traders for the Bungalow if we get it. Sorting out removals and storage. Sorting out the Complacency of the Two Estate Agents. Sorting out storage of my Railway stuff so that it doesn't get mixed with Pickfords stuff. (I cant have the railway stuff back in the new place until the Garage has been built. And that's another thing I'm sorting. Sorting out things at the Club. Sorting out rest and relax time. So yes, I got a bit lazy and bought a nice little layout, hhahahha All the best mate.
  12. Cheers Duncan, good to see you back mate.
  13. Hey Guys, have a look at Johns (Allegheny1600) Windley, Derbyshire, he's seen the light, hhahahhaaaa.
  14. John, how about North Cornwall with China Clay out of Boscarne Junction and the like, from Wadebridge and above. Have a look at Ray's (Tender) Camel Quay, or going the other way, Westerhamstation's Westerham Station for some wonderful track and scenics. I can't believe I posted in Kirkby Luneside this morning predicting this would happen, ahhah And that was tongue in cheek.
  15. Jeff, just be careful on what you wish for. Oh sorry, you said crystal, hhahahhah
  16. Hi Jock, cheers mate, no its not a lose screw, its a much to blooming big screw, and will be changed shortly. The wiring is now almost sorted, I think I have blown one street lamp and I want to add some Platform Lamps later as well.
  17. By the time you come back Jeff will probably have moved, and be ordering a rain forest of trees. Jim will have made a whole forest of trees for Jeff to eat into. Mick will be controlling the axis of the Universe from his mission control centre. Rob will have Bulleid everyone to death. Chris will have the worlds first 3D layout up and running. John will have seen the light and SOLD all his American and German stock and be doing a Southern Layout based in the Weald of Kent in 1938. Shaun will be doing his best to grubby his layout enough to be Grim up North. James will have taken over Lego World and starting a Franchise. Paul will see the light and change his tag to LMS Forever. Scott will have us drooling over Stockrington once more. Jock will be claiming Scottish independence and severing all rail links south of the border. And finally Jason will have built the Bacup Extension. O.K. I exaggerated about Jason's one, hahhaha Oh and I will be wondering if I'm moving or not.
  18. That's a cracking pic above and also it shows the Blue Grey coach in the formation nicely. So much scope for big scenery on a Station like that. Wonderful.
  19. Morning Jaz, Yes I will do, the boards on its side at the mo whilst I tidy the wiring up, but yes, I certainly want to add some more of the scenic pics on here.
  20. Morning Ray, I know I answered this last nigh, but, I've just had a quick look and my Dremel is packed away in a box in storage (I hope) so it will have to be the Stanley Knife and chisel. Cheers, if all else fails it may have to your other method.
  21. Nice idea Ray, I 'll look into that mate. Regards to Polly.
  22. Cheers Neil, it is nice and now that the wiring is almost sorted on the first board I'm a lot happier. Next big job I guess will be the Kadee Magnets, I have some of the big under track ones. I have tried them under the board, they work but there weak, so its either in track ones like I had on Glen Roy or cut away some baseboard, and hoping not to damage the track or ballast. Thanks for looking and posting.
  23. So after tracing some more wires back through the looms, grey to white, back to grey and a blue for the other one, I decerned that they might just be for the lights. So I very gingerly disconnected one and using the resistor I connected it to the track feed. You can guess what happened next Well shock and disbelief It Worked I then connected the buffers and the rest of the street lamps. And BINGO it worked. So now instead of loads of wires it will be just two to the track feed, and so far two to the controller. Next job, order the Points accessory Modual tomorrow.
  24. Hi and evening all, I have managed to sort out the track wiring this evening and had my first Loco running all over the Main Board. There are just 3 end on feeds so that was easy, but I may just and put some extra feeds in later as with the points, they can only be worked in a set formula for doing the crossover, its no real problem just something I can alter at my leisure later. Please excuse the big screw in pic 3, all the rest are packed SOMEWHERE. Again the white plug is temporary until I have finished testing.
  25. What time are you coming down to sort it out? hahhahaaa
