1. Going to watch this one with interest.
2. Not purchased from them for a while now but I have always found Digitrains staff very helpful and pleasant and give good advice as well as an excellent mail order service. Michael
3. Hi Shaun, Thank you very much for the kind words, yes it is 4mm and you're right about the camera showing up things that wouldn't normally be seen. It's guy's like yourself and other scratch builders on here that gives us beginners the inspiration to have a go at scratch building and to try to produce some buildings that are somewhere close to the excellent work that has been produced here by you guy's. Michael
4. Great work so far Carl, following this with interest and looking forward to more. Michael

6. Thanks for the comment Rob, yes it does need a bit more work done to finish, not sure about the White doors. Michael
7. This is my very first attempt at scratch building, I needed a CLASP style building to represent an admin and TOPS office for my ongoing layout I overlaid perspex with Slaters 2mm planked plasticard and Evergreen strip for the window frames etc and used a piece of wet and dry on the roof to represent roofing felt, I also added some 'Faller' office furniture inside, I may fit lighting yet. The building didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped but I don't think it too bad for a first attempt but please let me know what you guy's think. Michael [ [/ [
8. You have produced some excellent work there Rob, working slowly certainly pays dividends as can be seen by your work. With me it's always s**t or bust which is why I make so many mistakes! Michael
9. Great work! The water is excellent. Michael
10. No, the flats are still there and still occupied but they have had some modernisation work done over the years so they look a little different now, I had a couple of school mates who lived there in the 1970s. Michael
11. Hello Dave, You are definitely right about those new houses next to Malvin's Road, I think those homeowners are going to have problems in the future. It's always great to see pic's of Blyth, I remember it all so well, thanks for posting. I hope that your mum is a bit more comfortable now. Michael
