  1. Is this any use to you: Also a couple of 'Shawplan' Extreme Extreme Etchings 12":1' Scale?? Enjoy!
  2. A little place for detail photographs that might help one or two here! For around 10 years I was lucky enough to be part of a (very) small team who looked after 37075 in preservation - Unfortunately the owner decided to sell the loco on last year. During my time working with this loco (and having unrivaled access to it ) I took the opportunity to take a LOT of photographs, some specifically for detail reference. I have also been promising to post some of these for some time, well here goes: From No. 2 end to No. 1 end (B side I think). 37075 is a standard class 37/0 with boiler water tank replaced with a second fuel tank. I do have the other side and will post at some point. Note old brake blocks on No. 2 end and new on No. 1 end, this was the day we changed the blocks!! Hope these are of some use to people. Cheers, Al
  3. Some more from the archive!! N451 at Spencer Street N458 & N468 at Spencer Street N468 & N458 at Spencer St S302 runing round & being turned at Warrnambool S302 runing round & being turned at Warrnambool S302 runing round & being turned at Warrnambool N456 at Spencer St Enjoy! Al. (edited because anyone with eye's in their head can palinly see that the last picture is N456 and not N464!!!!!)
  4. Unfortunatley so - At least the A's are still plying their trade, though only the two diagrams these days I believe. Hopefully I will get back before they finnish for good.
  5. A couple of shots from my first trip down under back in 2001 (I think!) Enjoy! Al.
  6. Or Exhaust ports................................
  7. 37116 was inbdeed the last 37 to ratain original buffer beam skirts. It kepts these until overhaul in 1996 when Transrail B#stardised it then decided to retain round buffers and paint it Banger Blue!! Subsequently in preservation 003/009/037/119(350)/240 have all had buffer beam skirts re-instated (with varying success!). I believe that 057 & 248 are either re-gaining skirts or in the process of. Not that 102/712 in previous pictures has round tail lights on one end. And lastly, one close to my heart that appears to be missing - 37075 has split boxes with plated over doors one end, and a totaly flush front at the other. I am not on my computer at the moment so cannot post any of my images, however at some point i'll drop one in! Al.
  8. Actually did some modeling the other week, and the fruits of my labor bellow: Smiths Couplings, Heljan Ploughs and some typical Scottish filth!
  9. Had a local chap i know do the dirty on another loco for me, results of B61 bellow: The WCR B class loco's only got one cab refurbished during overhaul, so were always turned so that the same cab led, hence the distinctive pattern to the weathering, something I didn';t want to try myself! Lastly, three Bulldogs round the Turntable!
  10. Finally re-instated to a live pool back on RM Web, fingers crossed i'll even get some modeling done!! After an appearance on Ian Hunters Broadford Layout at the EMGS show in Bracknell, i've started to get to grips weathering some of my Australian Victorian Railways stock. Some phots of A85 and a VHGF grain hopper: There are another 7 VHGF hoppers on the table and i've just stripped A70 down for some attention. Thats all folks! Al.
