  1. Looks like I shall have to acquire on of these! Will probably end up weathered & sound fitted too. Now what would be the chances of the nameplates having an etch for the builders plates too? It does appear to only need the one on the second mans side of No.2 end
  2. Looking good, just need a 'B' class to mix it up with the T's!!
  3. Now if they did the Overland I might get the West Coast PCO I need!! Accidentally sent Auscision an email for two more A class off the next run - Still not sure how I have justified A66 in V/Line MK3 though.............................
  4. Always interested in Aussie prototype models, especially Victorian Railways. One day i will actually build my Aussie project, I have about three boxes of various loco's & stock form around 2000, pretty much all EM'd . They get a run out on Broadford in the UK every now and again! Iain actually has one of my N sets of semi permanent loan!
  5. Nice little project, I've been looking forward to seeing it when they finish it but I fear it might be the coach that's gone up in flames last weekend. I couldn't see it in the platform siding this evening when I came past.
  6. Looking good! You'll have to push it up to 23 with a buffered one one each end for a full rake! I remember having the buffered sets moved over from Scunthorpe when it was first trialed to remove HAA's, started with 21 sets and soon pushed up to 23's, even got 23's on the LBT-Ratliffe's. 66 would only lift 21 out of LBT (19 in the rain), 59 would take 23 (think it was only 21 in the rain) & if it was a Ratcliffe it would only take 22 due to the route via Uttoxeter. Such a shame so many of these coal trains no longer run. Overall the 60's moved more coal on that circuit with less trains than anything else. Al.
  7. I was more thinking the individual coaches. The saloon with the balcony looks to me like a parlour Second?
  8. Scotsman rake looks fantastic. I could do with a 4/5 car set at some point in c1993 condition. Which donor models did you use?
  9. I'll try and dig out some of my phots from Knottingley. I'll be back working there a couple of days a week again from next week.
  10. There were 512 47's so 4 never carried BR, so the whole class didn't carry BR Blue. There are a few other Liveries that 57's never carried: Regional Railways Load Haul (either version) Transrail (either version) Mainline Freight (either version) EWS/EW&S RF General (only carried by 50149/37104 & 86/6's, There was another 37, 67X that carried it but only for publicity pictures) Then there are more of the 'post privatisation' liveries (GNER/GBRF), I have only listed the ex BR and first round of Privatised liveries I can remember. Al
  11. Always like to see different tractors, I could do with a couple of dutch ones myself, but they seem hard to come by at a reasonable price! I don't recall 504 ever getting Transrail branding, do you have any pictures? I thought it was converted to 603 before Transrail happened.
  12. Station's looking good Marcus!
  13. If I manage to produce something half as good as this it'll be a massive achievement. Latest pictures are amazing, could almost be real! Al.
  14. Your embankments blend nicely in with the back scene, looking good! Al.
  15. Really looking stunning, the second picture of 37026 you could almost walk upto it and drive it off the shed!
  16. Looking good, I'll have to pick up a copy of MR when its out, might give me some help with my Kyle!
  17. Lee, 26 looks stunning, wish I had the Time/Money/Space but alas I'll have to stick tot he 4mm ones!
  18. HTA's look good. Don't forget you'll need to do two outer's with buffers for the LBT circuit.
  19. They could well be higher than you'd expect as they may be for drivers rather than those on the ground. Drivers have been known to hit their heads when leaning out of windows............ Meant to say, Building 1 is looking ace!!
  20. Try 37203 (requires frost grills), also 37274 (37308) but would need addition of WR lamp irons. Watch out with 074/167, they're both RSH ones with the additional banding on the roof grills. 074 is also ex split box so doesn't have the plate above the draw gear on the nose end that proper center panel ones do. Al.
  21. Some kind of Trawler in 4mm might interest me, when I eventually get chance to build my layout I could probably use a couple in the Harbor. Cheers, Al.
  22. A couple more to add to the dutch list 37114/370/371/372/384* *384 was 258 so technically already on the list.
  23. I always presumed the the Duffs were on the EDB end of the shove sets as if there was ever any trouble with them they could be put into a through platform at Waverly & swapped. If one failed at GLQ it would be stuck on the blocks? Looking good as ever, always enjoy new pictures in here!!
  24. Hebridean looks familiar........ Some really nice work as always!
