  1. Taking some time off modelling to enjoy a bit of summer before it goes (next week probably!)

  2. Thank you to committee and organisers of the TRAC model railway show yesterday, I had a great day at the show. Rounded off with blowing stuff up and a BBQ for fireworks night, all in all a super Saturday!

  9. VW crank bearings should be round not oval and you shouldn't be able to peel the phos. bronze off with ur fingers!

      It's a '71 bus!

      If you have to drive them like I have even when they are a bit poorly it usually kills the centre main bearing! If I had loads of money I would have bought a new engine, instead I have had to make 2 from junk parts!

  12. Wiring in the yard almost complete, ran a train today!

  13. Worked until midnight last night to fit the headliner to my vw bus, mammoth job but came out at about 85% perfect, will have to live with the 15%
