      Do you have any means of testing it without connecting the controller?

      Everything seems ok. Tested with a multimeter and no obvious shorts. So it ought to work. But not brave enough to try tonight!!!

  12. I have inadvertently learnt that a surprisingly large amount of n gauge stock will cope with 7inch radius curves. Time to relay the fiddle yard!!

  14. Modelling real locations isn't easy. We have a Brio station, level crossing, tunnel and engine shed. Trying to fit them all on the table to recreate Grosmont is proving tricky!

      Watching my 5yr son shunt a micro layout at a show has just got me hooked!

      In my defence he did ask to help! It's win-win - I get to work on the layout and get brownie points for giving MrsJ a rest!!
