We will be at warley next weekend along with 2 very nice painted samples of gnr 251 and the BR black version. If you haven't made your mind up yet on which one to get this may just help you decide. Stunning !

Here's a quick update on the Atlantics BR Black we are making 500 pieces only. So if you haven't ordered and want one, don't leave it too late. LNER Apple Green version will be 1000 pieces only. Not sure yet on 251 but I will let you all know as soon as I do. BR Black will be no 62822 and LNER will be no 3251

Glad you all like the pictures of the sample Atlantic. I liked it so much it's now the wallpaper on my computer, although I do alternate between 251 and the apt-e (the real one). There again I am lucky to look at the real 251 and apt-e every day. It's our 10th birthday gala at the museum this weekend , all welcome to a free trip behind the replica rocket.

We have some pictures on the website now of a painted sample. It is just a sample still a way to go yet. Hope you like it so far

Why does no-one think of us up here in the north when looking for models?? The A1 Trust are doing a fantastic job of building a brand new P2 up here and I have plenty of Hornby R3207 P2 Cock o the North guaranteed to come my way with nobody's name on them yet. GET IN TOUCH IF YOU WANT ONE !!

Hi all I have a question for Jason and Bill , my apologies if it has been answered already, but could be interesting to others. How many sound functions will the model have? and will it be possible to split the whole train set and run one power car and one trailer car? Cheers

just to keep you up to date with packaging - I have ordered a thick double skinned box to pack the Atlantics in when they arrive (Plus bubble wrap) The boxes we had for Deltics were only a single skinned box and I agree not sturdy enough. We are learning more with each model we produce. so I will be in a cupboard with my colleague, up to the eyeballs in cardboard and brown tape come xmas (Hopefully!) Although we actually received very few complaints considering the number of parcels we sent out we are aiming to have even less this time around.

If you really can't decide then go for both then you won't wish you had opted for the other one !!

I'll make sure you have plenty of bubble wrap and I'll look out for the video when you receive the parcel! Thoroughly enjoyed the unwrapping of the L & y!

When we have a better idea of when to expect the models we will let everyone who have paid deposits know either by letter, email or telephone when we would require the balance. The website has a 'balance' button that customers can use to pay earlier if they want to, but we won't take any money without letting you know first and in plenty of time too. As for the packaging - comment noted! Cheers

I am almost certain (unless the Post office say otherwise and put up their prices) the p&p will be £7.50 and that will guarantee next day delivery (UK Mainland only)- from the day we send them of course! If you pay in full now p&p is free

Hi all I'm glad the launch of not one but three atlantics today has been so well received. The models are simply stunning as some pics posted on here show. After reading all the comments so far I would like to clarify a couple of things. The models will hopefully arrive at locomotion either the end of this year or early 2015. I know the website confuses people sometimes as it says 'in stock' when it isn't. That's just the way the website works I'm afraid. If I put a zero in the box it wouldn't show as available to buy so I do try to put the info on there somewhere. We have exclusivity on the c1 Atlantic so if you want one , buy one! It was nice to meet a couple of rm webbers today, so thank you Ian and mike! The images on the website for the BR and lner versions are as in service. Sorry I mix up k1 and k2 tenders but they will be correct for the liveries. Have I answered everything.? If not, just shout and I'll do my best to give you the info Thank you to everyone involved today, sorry I was a few minutes late 'pushing the button' but it was a great day and to see how well the announcement was received makes me quite proud to be part of it.
