Press Release Locomotionmodels.com are pleased to announce that they have just received a very limited number of both the GNR Ivatt Class C1 Atlantics and the British Railways Class C1 (weathered). Currently, as previously advised locomotionmodels.com will be dispatching both of these models to those who first placed their orders and paid in full. For those who have just paid a deposit they are being urged to contact locomotionmodels.com either by telephone or preferably via www.locomotionmodels.com website to arrange the payment of the outstanding balance. As mentioned above locomotionmodels.com currently have a limited number of both, however they are pleased to confirm that further quantities of both the Weathered and GNR models have been produced and are currently in transit with an expected delivery date of the 10th April. Locomotionmodels.com are currently waiting for a confirmed delivery date for the LNER C1 but have been assured that the pristine British Railways C1 will be delivered on or before the 10th April. The BR Black versions are due last week in March so I should get all those pre orders fulfilled by the 31st. I plan on locking myself in a cupboard until I get them all wrapped. Plenty of tea and chocolate will keep me going so all contributions to the choccy stash greatly appreciated.! The lner and 251 will follow on but I don't know the date for that yet.

We will be at the York show easter weekend , if you haven't ordered an Atlantic yet you can do so at the show and any black ones we have left will be on sale there too.

The BR black, pristine and weathered, should be here end of March. If all goes to plan the delivery guy should be knocking on your door on the 31st. Double thick boxes - tick, bubble wrap - tick, sticky tape - tick, address labels - better get started, there are quite a few to write!

I match the orders up. ( I think I have replied to your message already). I know who bought what and when and it's all noted if you change an order or address or card details. Glad you like the look of the LNER version so far!! Thanks for all your extremely helpful and also supportive comments some of which we have already picked up on, like the boiler lining, and are looking to see if Bachmann can strengthen the black line which is the issue rather than the width of the overall boiler band. The coal load on all models is removable and this one won't be any different. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if there are any more constructive comments before reporting back! Cheers

If you buy with vat deducted and then add postage it works out nearly the same as full price without postage. Shipping overseas , unfortunately, is payable but there is very little difference. As for locomotionmodels we would like you to have vat deducted and then add postage. Cheers

Back from a successful show at warley. Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello and have a look at the samples of the atlantics. We should have them February to March time so not too much longer to wait!!

One thing to remember are these two models are the pre production samples and not the finished model. The 'real, one will be so much better but the paintwork on the samples is top notch. I have them with me ready to go in the display case tomorrow morning. Stand E22. Call by and say hello then I can put a face to all the wired names!

No No and no.

At newcastle model rail exhibition this weekend , getting ready for warley next week and I will get the samples then. We will be at stand E22. I'll take some pictures, but as you have seen with the P2 my photographic skills are not good but someone on here could surely give them a wow factor! When you see the samples there is another little surprise , some of you may really like it! As for delivery, we said end 14 or early 15. It does look like early 2015 but I'll keep you up to date when I have anything more definite.
