  1. If the beer mat is anything to go by, it looks like a pint of K & B bitter, a pity it's no longer brewed in Horsham. The Old Sussex is a very nice pint, if a bit intoxicating, hic! SS
  2. The 'ead on that be almost off a pint poured norf of the M4. I would certainly ask for a top up. SS.
  3. A turntable failure in Plymouth would not be a problem with a triangle at Laira and another one at North Road. SS
  4. Hi Colin Looks like the dogs proverbial's to me, a light weathering and the job will be done, I don't expect that most of us will notice the slight imperfections from normal viewing distances. Cheers SS.
  5. To score the inside of a bend use an old stanley knife blade, after folding run a fillet of solder along the inside. For other tips on brass bashing read some of Ozzy O threads. SS

  9. The underbridge at the West end of Dockyard Halt was single track and built on local stone but when doubled it was done on brick. SS

Hi Gordon Just to throw a spanner in the works, instead of a square or rectangle as you have now, have you thought about a triangle which would give a longer straight length on the hypotenuse and tighten the end radii up by hiding them in tunnels, plenty of them on the exit from the 'cross. some thing along the lines of the 'fields by the MRC. SS

  12. It would all look so much better with a 1366 pannier tank on the clay's.
  13. Hi Chaz I would try and check it out before you go to a show, as our club layout used a similar idea to create an exhibition sequence only to find a big flaw in it about three quarters of the way through and we had to ad-lib it for the rest of the show. SS
