    I keep noting occasional references to "Steam punk", something I'd never heard of before. Anyway, I've finally done an internet search on the term and now I'm even more bemused.

      Go to a comic com convention like I did last year. That was an eye opener.

      Steam punk paraphernalia costs a s..t load.

      Computers driven by steam and mechanics. And a utility belt with tea cups and telescopes. Think jules Verne in the European space station.

    How are you supposed to cope with a possible redundancy, especially after almost 28 years. Meantime, your employers still want future plans & projections... baffling!

      It's an x files episode. Modellers targeted for job losses. I was an early victim, but as above, you rise to the new challenges. You got a multitude of transferable skills. And you can't rule out busking in queen street.

      I put my inability to navigate the site down to having stubby thumbs and not being able to ripe proper lee .and thus gave up and had a laugh at some optimistic buy now offerings on eBay.
