Just a quick update. The exhibition is going ahead as planned and we hope to run as near a normal show as possible. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone back after what has been a difficult two years. We have some great layouts and the usual selection of trade and societies. So make a date in your diaries please and come along to Scotland's Summer Show.

We are looking forward to finally come up to the show with Charwelton into the 80s. Be the first trip out since 2019 with it. Might have to set it up and have a test to make sure we know how to play with,  operate the train set :scratchhead::laugh_mini2:

I've decided to give Glasgow a miss in February, but will definitely visit Perth in the summer.  I'm really looking forward to the usual fantastic show.

Just looked on Avanti to check the cost - the last three weekends in June have no fares available - must be planning engineering works.

Off Peak is 126GBP, 4.5 hours there by midday and 4.5 hours leaving 5:22.

It's doable, but that would be a long time with the 5:22 being the last possible train back....

As much I want to go, I need to be sensible.

No DC-Kits, what a shame.  Bif's seminars are a "go to" for me every year.

Steve

DCKits & Gang will be there with our normal 36 foot stand featuring:

DCKits - Realtrack models, DEVideos & Books & and of course our Legomanbiffo demo.

Not sur why Stan has not listed DCKits, but he is getting old you know !!!!!!!

I did it by sleeper train a few years ago, then took a train to Edinburgh on Saturday evening just do do the Forth Bridge.

It's quite a nice journey by train from Edinburgh, but about 80 minutes each way.

The leaves getting to Edinburgh as the issue. Flying can be cheaper, depending on where you are travelling from. Flight times don't always work for such a trip though, especially at weekends.
