With the Accurascale class 37/6 payment deadline on pre-orders being today. Does anyone know if the Rails Special payment day is near today or even when it might be? If I remember correctly the Exclusive Deltic’s were a bit random but I can’t remember really.

I just feel like I can’t run them next to the Bachmann ones, when I put my Bachmann DBSO onto the Hornby Mk2’s I can see the difference and I’m sure I would see it with the AS Mk2’s as well (Although there will be less crossover on them thankfully).

Or Mark 2e’s nothing against the Hornby ones but to mix in with the Bachmann ones they stand out like a sore thumb in terms of CDL lights and internal lighting…

All my 5 class 92’s have now arrived, I now must test and run them in!! Absolutely fantastic models and credit to AS for there quick release of the models! Now do I go for the Kernow exclusive too and make it six, hmmm??🤔 looking forward to my 4 AS 37’s ready to settle my tab in January for the three I have on direct order!

I’m just in awe of the photos, can’t wait for my 5 to arrive, according to the website mine haven’t been dispatched but I’m praying for a dispatch email saying 4 of them are on the way! So they can make it before Christmas!

I think it would be good to see a spirit of the lakes set, come out? That would look very nice! And I like the idea of the Arriva wales livery, anglia and the blue Pullman colours, they would all fit into my early 2010’s Pathfinder rake! Although some north Britton coaches wouldn’t go a miss there either…

86259, 86701 and possibly a 86238 to be turned into 86213… A nice addition and something that I know I’ve been after for a while! Nice to see more AC electrics being made!

I was hoping to get 50014 and 50006 and then re-number them to make the GBRF pairing prior to there paint job into GBRF livery as they did look nice in LL and Blue, but I’m worried those models aren’t correct for re-numbering does 50006 have a plated headlight? And not sure 50014 will be suitable for 50049 now. Might have to have a look at 50017 and swap the OHLE stickers for moderns.

I’ve had my full delivery now, very happy with them! All arrived intact, had them out to check them over and all is good except one centre bar coupling is missing but I’ll drop the guys a message and I’m sure they will have it sorted in a moment! cheers guys for the fantastic wagons, looking forward to the rest I’ve got on order/want to order!

Honestly, I think* that you will find that next year there will be a re-run with new livery options. You might see things like EC Grey, Swallow no name (as you want), and maybe even another run of GNER for the Pre-Mallard Mk.4’s. There will probably also be another run of LNER stock to cope with how many modern 91’s they have done. Because it fills the gaps with what’s missing and other stock they have already produced. *I don’t work for Hornby, so unless they are stupid then it would make sense. However we all know what Hornby can be like…

Looking forward to the OO Gauge ones. Although I’m not sure my bank balance will enjoy it! As someone else has asked, do we know who’s doing the sound chips and or file for them. I’m assuming this is not an urgent thing or might not have been finalised yet due to how long they are away from being finished? Cheers, looking forward to OO gauge updates!

I too am looking for the era 8/9 versions or have they all sold out and me and the OP missed them?

Looks nice, but I just wish they had done it properly, too headlight functioning and corrected lower lights… ahhh well.

What about a printable PDF on the website? Just for those to fold up and put in the box, so they don’t have to go to the website every time they forget? Which I know I will!🤣

Apologies if this has been asked already but are the Rails/DPS exclusives far behind? As I’ve been charged from Rails but I can’t find an email, or when I log into there website there has been no update. In fact it says I haven’t paid the balance but my bank argues otherwise! I didn’t even get a warning that payment was due, like the customers ordering direct from AS seemed to get. Just a wonder as they have been non existent with any communication, I’ve only seen what you guys at AS have put out regarding them. And I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on them!

I’m assuming the ASF variants will follow shortly? As the Yellow ones look to have the old style bogies on them?

mine would have to be 37057 in BR Green with skirts and High Density headlight. As it worked for Colas. It would be nice to have 37087 K&WVR in DRS livery or 059/218 with flush fronts in DRS Swoosh livery to follow on from the 37/4’s.

I have two of the 90030’s on order but both will be up for work done to them as I’m looking for 90020 & 90037 both in EWS faded livery I think @Squirrel Rail will have more work to do!

maybe as a collectors club model? We might see a Pathfinder Blue/Grey modern rake? Although I have your idea with grabbing a few Mk2F’s in Virgin Livery 2xFO’s, RFB & 2xTSO’s for a pathfinder set and then wait for the anglia Releases… As H****y have just released and appropriate Mk.1 RBR for the set… just an Anglian BSO to do after.

@G-BOAF I have to agree with your rule, for my stuff I’ve envisioned that the NRM has a better use of its heritage diesel and electric fleet. Things like 87002, 47798, 55002 and 37350 all get runs on the main line for charter use! It is shocking how the NRM treat its D&E fleet tbh, they just seem to be fobbing groups of people off who want to see these things run unfortunately.

Could always use a Deltic we know there passed on the WHL...

I’d love to upload the video of 66779 pulling them, but the forum doesn’t allow for videos to be uploaded. You can tell when it reaches the gradient and curve at the same time but no issues on the flat going round curves only a slight loss in power when it gets to both on my rake of 14, however I feel lots of things would need a banker on your climb! I don’t own a Hattons 66 love em or hate em, I was tempted but unfortunately I didn’t have a brilliant time ordering with Hattons near there time of release and then when they had so many damaged/axel problems at the price I just didn’t see the point I was happy with the Bachmann model and a lights upgrade. But this is de-railing the thread. I have to have train lengths of that length as eventually when space allows I’d love to have a proper exhibition layout for the 2010-2018 era. 12 is as short as you can really get away with but 14 makes a really good impression of length.
