  1. I am also a satisfied customer. If you don't get the service that you think you should, then take your money else where. I agree with Stan that for a husband and wife business he carries a very large range. Gordon A
  2. Hello all, I am looking to do another run of the etched chassis kit for the Hornby 0-4-0 Peckett. The kit comes with EM and P4 spacers. Details in this thread. Would anyone interested in purchasing a chassis kit please let me know by e-mail : ga007d9065@blueyonder.co.uk The cost will be between £25.00 and £30.00 given the increase in cost of nickel silver. I have yet to quantify the postage costs. The etchers are quoting an eight week lead time from placing the order. I will not be asking for money until I have an order wrapped ready for postage. Many thanks Gordon
  3. Looking at the Vol 2 of standard gauge Man Wardle locos, number 422 was despatched on the 17th April 1873 to John Aird & Co of Maidstone, is listed under the Class F locos. There is no pictures or drawings of 422. There are photographs of variations built within the Class F. Gordon A
  4. As Dungrange above. If your first departure is a passenger move, then you will need to store the coach/es over night in one of the loops. No signal box? Had you consider an additional crossover at the engine shed end of the sidings to main line? Also potential for the line to continue off scene as a "long siding" to an industrial site. Gordon A

  13. I used to see tin plate imported from Holland through Poole docks, where it was loaded on to bogie bolster type vehicles for onward transit.
  14. Ouch! That may be salvageable, but I would send it back. It has definitely not adequately packaged.
  15. If you moved the back scene of the station away from the inner edge of the base board you would have some additional space for storage loops?
  16. Sorry WG but not according to the drawing by Don Townsley in the Planet Industrials pamphlet for the loco and the picture of number 19 clearly show that there are not directly opposing spokes. A good hint for working out the spoke count. Gordon A
  17. James from your plans can you tell me how many spokes the wheels had? I am looking to buy a replacement P4 wheel set. Many thanks. Gordon
