Hi Guys, firstly Sam and myself would like to say how touched we were to see how many people valued our Father's unique sense of humour. Thank you for the tributes.

We've organised the funeral for the 28th of April and here are the details:

10:15 Funeral service at:
Harwood Park Crematorium
Watton Road
Datchworth
Stevenage
Hertfordshire
SG2 8XT

11:30 Wake at:
The Willows
271 Broadwater Crescent
Stevenage
Hertfordshire
SG2 8ET

We've decided family flowers only, and will be asking for donations for the Cinnamon Trust as they've done so much to help with re-homing Alfie.

Hope to see you there.

Can't get there from Oz but my thoughts will be with you...........Mike

Hi everyone, just wanted to say that the funeral was a lovely service and I think we saw Dad off well. I've attached the order of service for those that might be interested, otherwise this will be the last post from his account.

Live well and thanks for your companionship for our Dad, it was appreciated.

Thanks for that OOS. I trust that everything went as well as can be expected. I lost my Dad in 2010 and there isn't a day that passes that I dont remember him with a smile. Take care and all the best wishes for the future. Thank you for sharing this time with us.

Steve.

Dear Ken and Sam

Have only just come back to this - apologies for tardiness

The order of service clearly reflects the love you have for your father. We will miss him here but I am sure he will always be with you.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to share this very personal event with this community and I hope you have found at least some strength in your hour of need in the support you have had from us

Am out model railwaying this weekend but will raise a glass tonight

Kind regards

Phil
