For me, having been through it countless times on my way to Dorset, Bath marks the border between decent roads and not-exactly-decent roads. The equivalent of walking across the upstairs landing and then going down the stairs in a bumpy manner. 1 1

RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted April 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 23, 2020 This cant be a proper model railway show with all this talk of bath! Are not all attendees supposed to remain unwashed for at least a week beforehand? Clive has it right he's going to turn up stinking of horsey poo after that long journey..... 1 1 1
RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 23, 2020 I think you'll find, Sir, this is a Member's Day, not a public exhibition. I'd say I'm currently ahead of schedule with my fiddle yard build (although that's a bit hard to judge, seeing as I no longer have any idea what day it is)... 3 1
Rivercider
As someone who will not be attending as a visitor, this week I have not spent time looking for my name badge. I will however be purchasing a couple of bottles of cider in order to enjoy a virtual visit to the Plough Inn as I don't make my way back to the station after the event. cheers 3
RMweb Premium Keith Addenbrooke Posted April 24, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 24, 2020 At the risk of being sensible for a moment, as someone without space for a permanent home layout (and with a cellar which has turned out to be quite damp), seeing the various photos of how layout boards are packaged up for transport is very useful - helping me think through options for a feasible portable layout: something we don’t really see with regular exhibitions. Thank you all. Keith PS: I think it’s Friday now? 5 1
