Class 37 Photos...

Found this one on a disc the other day, i've no exact date but taken in 2002, at Warrington yard. The wagons, vehicles and clutter may interest modellers. I'd forgot about and seldom saw any EWS liveried road vehicles, i think the two Maroon ones in this pic' are both Vauxhalls.:unsure:

Locomotive Service Limited's D6817 and D6851 worked back along the Calder Valley on 11th March 2020, together with 3 ex-LNER Mark 3 coaches as 5Z48, 10.14 Tyne Staging Sidings to Crewe Holding Sidings - approaching Brighouse.

Yes it is.

 

As per WNXX, Britannia support coach 35465 and generator coach 6311

D6739 at Hull Dairycotes in January 1967 and D6776 at Thornaby on 17th February 1967, coincidentally the same day The Beatles release their double A sided single Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane...

West Coast Railway Company's 37706 leads the Branch Line Society's 'The Eric and Ernie' charter, approaching Brighouse on 15th March 2020 as 1Z57, 13.34 Leeds Whitehall Road to Carnforth.  WCRC's 47832 was on the rear.

Having seen your posts on the GA Stadler Flirt - Class 745 & 755 thread I figured any inclusion of a Stadler unit must have been a mistake.  Either that or you'd lent the camera to someone else. :jester:

It wasn't the loco it was the driver! 

 

I got out to take a picture and thebroadvcame off so I quickly put the lamp on and grabbed the shot then jumped in the cab and turned the lights off. We were top and tailed with both locos manned
