Things didn't go quite to plan as I ended up making a few amendments......Frankly, it's going to be damn close. Revised track plan looks more interesting, visually and operationally. 1

Mutton, as long term readers of this waffle may recall was inspired by Combpyne. Here's the blurb I used to hand out at shows when I was out with Mutton. Great minds, Paul, great minds. RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted 2 hours ago Author RMweb Gold Share Posted 2 hours ago This evening has seen track cut and temporarily laid in place. Bay still needs wiring up and the rest of the clay laying arond the engine shed. A tidier view than the last. Platform ramp will be cut off. An embankment will be to the right and will follow the bay around. Rob
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted 2 hours ago Author RMweb Gold Share Posted 2 hours ago A few more images. Pretty rubbish but taken to check viewing angles. I do check these things, honest. I'm finally starting to get a feel for it. Rob 13

Nicely done! Cheers, Mark

Cheers, Mark Hi Mark, The scenic section is a bit longer ( just over 4'6" ) but narrower by 1cm. I'm struggling to get past this stage to be honest but once I do I'll be a lot happier. The engine shed is probably the largest structure I've used to date on all the layouts. Much agonising over it but I think it works. It also seems to balance with the platform/ buildingsxat the other end. I'm now torn between adding a few trees as per Ewe or going flat and open. I'll have a better idea once I start on the embankments etc which may be lower than first thought. As uou can tell, I really am making this up as I go and sadly, it shows.....but, as I mentioned above, I do feel I'm finally starting to get into it.
