Then we have the blonde Tesla driver .

The one who really looked stupid was the unhelpful specimen who cackled and filmed the poor woman who was having trouble rather than offering any help.

Someone doesn't know their left from their right.

I get that we all make mistakes from time to time, and that sometimes we don't know which side the filler's on if the car is unfamiliar ... but I struggle to understand how anyone that stupid actually gets through any part of everyday life. Or even how anyone can be that stupid.

I thought all cars now have an arrow on the fuel gauge to show you which side the filler is

Not mine.

Clearly spatial awareness isn't her thing but I dare say there are other things she's very good at.

There is a case of a couple loading up their Hummer with plastic cans of petrol and on the way back home it caught fire.

She's probably still there.

Perhaps she was told that some garages had quick recharging points.  Still rather silly to imagine that they'd be in the same location as the ordinary pumps.

But like the "panic stockpiling" photo

It's round the side with the attendant's car parked in it all day.

Toasted Hummer anyone? This was the one loaded with cans of fuel.

Now that would be an interesting story to tell to the insurance company, especially with evidence all over the internet!

They used to be a few going around in Melbourne, but very few to be seen lately. The exceptions seem to be stretched limo versions, which I assume have to be kept going longer to earn their modification costs.

I'm sure there's a good reason - over priced American crap comes to mind!

It cannot be the same vehicle. The shape of the window next to the rear door is quite different.

I have seen one locally stretched to about three times its length. Its been 'caught' on a hump back bridge at least twice (different bridge each time). I can understand an ordinary car being stretched but when you consider what a Hummer is designed for a stretched one is beyond all reason.

Presumably feeling really proud of the fact they just managed to bulk buy next weeks fuel they lit up a celebratory cigar for the journey home
