I'd be reluctant to use an HO tamper on a layout of this standard as they look undersize alongside OO locos, I would go for the Clockwork models 08-16 tamper kit.

Look forward to seeing this layout on the exhibition circuit, superb modelling.

Fanastic layout. Right up my street! Only just stumbled upon this so apologies for all the likes!

Really like 37884, is she your handiwork? She's next on my to-do list!

Thanks for sharing

The business end of the layout. A bit overkill having two controllers but gives some flexibility. A Controller can also be plugged into the other end of the layout. NCE PowerCab and Cab-06p throttle.

Thought I would model one of the few DRS 66's still left in original DRS livery which is all the 66/3 series at the moment. This is a 66412 body renumbered on the latest 66434 chassis. Fitted with Legomanbiffo sound as are most of my locos.

Your layout just gets better and better, Nick. Fantastic photo of the class 66, my favourite class of loco. Looking forward to more photos  :)

Just wondered where did you get the tail lamps from? I have been searching but can only find the ones for steam trains.

Cheers, George.

The class 66 and the western look superb on the Sidings, Nick.

Thank you kind Sir. The 66 is finished now but still lots of detail to do and sound to fit to finish the Western.

Guest Digital

Something a little different I am working on, D1015 'western Champion' in her current livery.

Look forward to hearing the Western engines starting up.
