Ginster's, the Greggs of the SW, mind you Greggs are good for hot cheap stodgy stuff like sausage in a roll with brown sauce when it's cold out.

 

In my student days there was a bakery in Camborne called Oven Fresh, their pastys were a trusty standard for skint students. They also had that quality found in doner kebabs, of being quite tasty when you'd had a few pints and it was cold out. They were certainly fresh from the oven; there were various doubts over what went into them before ever going in the oven, but so it goes.
