RMweb Gold russ p Posted January 15, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 15, 2017 The 91s have never looked as stylish since, I wonder why they ran with the front valance removed in the early days?

RMweb Gold griffgriff Posted January 19, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 19, 2017 What livery is that saloon and sleeper? Last I saw of it it was yellow with black ends It's cool isn't it. It looks like a small collection of coaches wore this livery. I found a video clip of a train (formed of such reversing at Salisbury. I was under the impression it was a WR thing... clearly not! RMweb Gold griffgriff Posted January 19, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 19, 2017 I stumbled across this video, recorded on 19/4/93, on Youtube. seen at 1:40 onwards. I was wondering what this eye catching train was ... It looks like it went off to be turned on the Odstock Loop before departing westwards. The plated over Mk2's and the MK2 Brake First look very straightforward and the 'Inspection' vehicle looks ever so familiar ??? But check out the livery! I'm sure that you would agree that it would be a very appealing modelling subject. Sorry a bit off topic... but this is the blue and yellow test train I found. I had a quick look on the internet but couldn't find any info about the stock. Here's the train passing Heaton behind 90025 in March 93. I didn,t post this photo before as the quality is poor.

I have absolutely loads of negs with dust and water damage, it will be a good retirement project but that is 20+ years away yet, I suppose digital images are quite good in that respect as long as they are backed up but I do miss the Practica camera but the Cannon DSLR is a fine gadget
