Andrew P
Always need a cup of tea before starting anything mate, me personally l hate the stuff, give a coffee every time, the layouts looking good and love the station buildings they really fit the bill.... Thanks mate, yes I think anything bigger would have looked wrong and over powered the whole Layout, now it will just blend into the scene nicely. Andrew P
So as promised, some pics of a little progress today, only an hour and a half instead of the two I thought I'd do. But the Station Lamps are in, and will be wired tomorrow when I can turn the board over, and the main Fencing is fitted. There will be Grass embankments down from the back board to the bottom of the Fencing, to add some colour. I'm looking for somewhere to fit an on/off switch for the Lamps, although I can wire them direct into the Track, I don't want them on all the time. Anyway, enough rambling, some pics of the progress.

Thanks Tony, but that's the Dairy Siding, there will be a Low relief Building and Canopy eventually over that Track like I did on Porth Merryn. Andrew P
First job of the day was to wire up the Platform Lamps, I've used a Double Pole Switch and taken a feed from the spare side, and left it under the base board, just in case I decide to add any more lights later. It's concealed behind the Toilet Block and cant be seen from the front.
Andrew P
Next job of the day was to add some Cardboard, packed up with foam to form the embankment behind the Fencing. Then I added some Grass, there will be a LOT more foliage later.
Andrew P
Third little job was to paint the Plaster Buffer Stop I bought at the Derby Show, and then added some Ash to the top, (PVA still wet and white). Then fit to the end of the Coal Siding. Edited May 17, 2018 by Andrew P
KNP
Well things are certainly proceeding at a pace, obviously the sun is out and warm in TOPS. Shaping up well and before we know it you'll be starting Pen Y Bont the extension!
Andrew P
And finally before Lunch stopped play. I found I was about 75mm short of fencing and so I removed the Fencing from behind the Gents Loo, and replaced it with some walling, (this will be painted and weathered later). The Fencing was then added to the end of the Platform to meet up with the Signal Box. As it was. And now. And the fencing re positioned.
